We were always going to get a 99 Mantle. To think this would play a part in the timing of it is laughable at best. Even worse than thinking we should get a juiced J-Rod because of a contract extension lol

Why? Onell cruz hit a really hard single and they juiced his FS card? All people have done is whine about them not supercharging cards so why not juice J rod card? Why not Juice Mantel or drop a 99?. We have pitchers that throw 102 all game, why would you ever think SDS releases cards based strictly on what’s done on the field? They stopped doing that about 5 years ago.

This Sunday, Mickey Mantle’s rookie card sold for 12.6 million dollars. This is now the most valuable piece of sports memorabilia, so will MLB The Show 22 celebrate the milestone by coming out with a 99 Mickey Mantle card? The seller originally bought the card for $50,000 in 1991, how’s that for card flipping?

There was just a 98 in the current program. No way they release a new one already. My guess is that it is another few months out at this point.

With inflation he may have actually lost money on that investment.

The 98 is fun to play with.
I sold my 30/30 Ced to use the stubs towards Brett.

The 98 Mick is a real value at basically 10k.

Why would you buy him when he was free for grinding the Dog Days of Summer Program? That's why he is at quicksell because most people got him.

If SDS had any balls they would offer Mantle in the exchanges for 12.6 million exchange points. That would surely bring in them tons of cash with everyone buying stubs to buy high diamonds since no one will want to exchange common for that many points.

Any chance this is the real 99? This year is strange with elite legends getting watered down 99.cards.

    I’m kinda liking this 98 mantle. I can’t imagine they’d release a 99 this close to the 98 release
