I did make it through my one and only EXTREME in 2020. It was not easy for me. When I got my 4th XBH with Gehrig, I passed out from sheer exhaustion. I'm assuming the worst for 2022.

I think I'll set up my gaming area like a spa to keep calm. Scented candles, a water feature, some Enya.

More practically, I should soundproof the room so my wife doesn't hear my screams of anguish.

    What are you doing?

Wondering what will happen first. We get unbanned or we all complete the Extreme program.

    50/50

    LOL. ❤️

I will casually attempt them to feel them out, and decide whether I want to spend my off day doing that, or doing something else

I have been playing the USA conquest map on Hall of Fame. I can be regular teams consistently but I can’t imagine I will fare well against good CPU players on Legend…

Oh the advice of some of my esteemed colleagues on here, I gonna a play some games on legend just to gage where I'm at. Then I'll have myself a good cry, maybe eat some ice cream and watch Titanic and think of a good excuse for missing work tomorrow.

Didn't you complete the mini season beat a team on legend?

Yes, I did complete that I think on my second try. Had to use Ranndy and cheese my way around the bases to scratch a run but I did do it. Good call.

Unless there is original CQ extreme missions you should be fine with the conquest part.and some of the moments.

With this year's horrible hitting consistency, there are only 4 things you can do to prepare:

    1. Sound proof your room for all the profanity.
    2. Pad all hard surfaces for controller throwing.
    3. Buy extra tissues for the crying.
    4. Buy lots of alcohol for when you give up!

I might just skip the extreme program and just listen to Enya all weekend.

Enya is far more extreme than any extreme program SDS can release.

See I’m assuming the opposite. I have a feeling they are going to dumb it down like they have with most of the game play this year. Just my opinion

This is the same this I was thinking. I should probably go ahead and buy an extra controller and have a some whiskey on hand.

Thankfully I'm not very interested in the 3 rewards they've already revealed. Conquest is my favorite mode, so I'm definitely going to dig into that this weekend. And I'll at least take a stab at the Moments. But this lets me off the hook from feeling like I have to grind out the Showdown.

I feel like SDS owed me a solid on this one. Of my 5 favorite cards to use every year, Frank and Brett are definitely on that list (probably #2 and #3 respectively). Those cards took forever to unlock, so I'm glad I don't have to keep grinding away for other cards I really want.

If the 4th Extreme reward is Foxx, Carew, or Yount then SDS and I are going to have some words. Of course, they will ignore those words, obviously. It's SDS. But words will be had nonetheless.

I bought some popcorn in preparation for this community's tears on Showdown and the guaranteed Kerry Wood moment. As for preparing myself, I didn't do much, picked up some beer to get me through

mate i am going to blaze absolute cannons, keep toasty in the brain - also have an oversized baseball glove on a spring ready to punch me in the face and nuts at any given notice to soften the blows of an overarching OF dive or Pedro dotting the corners on a Mario Mendoza level of power

Always involves a big dip of Cope in Wintergreen. A closed door which allows a lot of cussing. Controllers cost to much to break. Maybe a little Orange Dreamsicle energy drink for long hours.
