I wish they would update conquest at least a little.
The most annoying part is:
You can have 20M fans and have to take over 1M fans spots over & over again. Why have they not implemented the ability to take over more than one spots at a time.
If i have 20M Fans, i should be able to select as many places as i want to take over that would legit cut down the time by half.
Nope, instead SDS is like,

Ok on topic: OP I do get your frustration. This is only my second year and for the rollout of the last two programs, I've thought, this is the exact same thing. I still enjoy it and understand there are only so many things they can overhaul while still being able to release a constant stream of content.
So what are some ideas you have to innovate DD? I ask that seriously, not to be snarky. I'm always interested in what ideas everyone has to add to this game.

I will say that I was not around in '20, so I will give this thing a chance and see how it goes. I am afraid the gameplay this year with the combination of "extreme" will be a major turn off though. Offline gameplay is a touch better, so maybe there is hope. For the most part though I have moved on from '22 and gone back to '21. Playing Events, BR, Extra Innings, etc. from '21 has been a much more enjoyable use of my time than anything I do in '22. I keep hanging around, but less and less time is going into '22. Hey, maybe "Extreme" will change that...

I love the idea of Supercharging live series cards, but why does a player have to have a career day or hit a milestone, or break a record to get supercharged? They should have a team dedicated to making sure they have supercharged players daily. I mean, we have 1200 active cards (not free agents) so only 4 get SC?
There should be hundreds of supercharges a day. That would make live series cards have more meaning this time a year other than collections or to make stubs on flips.
Honestly its not my job to come up with content, i do not get paid to do that.
Its those at SDS who should take extra effort to make sure the game is better than the last, not worse.

I've been playing mlb the show since 06 on my PSP lol.
This is the first time i've been done with the game by July in its history.
Maybe it will make it better but knowing SDS they will put in as little effort as possible.

I'm happy to hear that you are excited for recycled, uninspired content, that is specifically designed to make the game not fun.

I'm sure if it was catered to more people like me, the entire MLB twitch community wouldn't have switched to playing Madden lol

Surprisingly, SDS actually made a huge improvement to sim times this year. It used to take at least twice as long to sim each hex. but I completely agree -- it takes way too long and there's really nothing strategic about it. Just build up an army and sim, reload, repeat. If there was more to it than just click and wait, I think that would be kinda cool

Yep, i do miss MLB 06, the soundtrack and the gameplay was top notch!

You brought madden into this discussion by trying to tell everyone how people are playing madden now. No [censored] Sherlock? Bottom line, if I do t like a game I go play other things. I don’t come to the boards and complain about it and threaten to leave. The game has a couple issues but rewards and game modes isn’t one of them. Only in your eyes. The reason that the gaming community is going to play madden is 2 reasons, the first, it’s new and fresh but within a month those same guys will move on to NBA 2k, like they do every year. The second, is more of the mechanics of the game. Which most of us get, accept them for they are and keep playing or we go play something else. Now please tell me where it hurt you.

It doesnt expire, it will just sit there for you to take a shot at every now and then if you are feeling brave, or sit there and grind it all out in a week or 2 if you want. It isnt part of a program or RS, or BR. It is just an added feature that a lot of us were pretty upset they took away for 1 year last year. Regular Moments, showdown and conquest offer absolutely NO challenge to most people who play this game yearly. Extreme is a great way to kill some of the monotony.

I still need to go back to that Goose Gossage mission from years back. It was the only one I couldn't do but I was playing on a big screen tv back then. I bet I could do it now.
