️I’m sure the rewards will be great. But expect the people that believe in participation trophies to complain if it’s a name they want and are not good enough to earn.

lol. I remember tryouts for Little League in the mid 60’s. If you didn’t get picked they told you to practice and get better then tryout the next year. Ah the good old days. -
With this new P5 mission thing I'm guessing there will be 2 paths to the Extreme rewards.
- Much quicker path for more skilled players.
- A massive grind for the less skilled players.
This way, people can't complain saying it's too hard for them and can't get the rewards (but of course they'll still complain).

I'm no expert on Extreme since last year was my first DD year and had no Extreme, but how does SDS handle this?
Like if you're saying they wouldn't have a guy like Chipper as an Extreme reward, then who?
The rewards have to be desirable enough to make the hours of frustration worth it.
I'm excited to try it myself, but if the rewards suck then why do it?

18s were Yadi Molina and Matt Kemp, 19 was Jim Edmonds, Andrew Miller, and Goose Gossage, 20 was Yelich, FS Nate Pearson, and Gehrig. They simply aren't putting any of what I call the big 4(Griffey, Trout, Mantle, Chipper) behind extreme. My guess is Hank Aaron

When you have inevitable explosive diarrhea incoming from extensive Taco Bell sessions, but all the bathrooms are closed, and or are out of toilet paper, like the great toilet paper caper of 2020/21 at the height of Covid, those are the real Extreme Moments, friends.....

My question is what does “optional ” mean. Isn’t basically everything in DD “optional”?

Aaron is probably the best bet, most won’t be to bothered not to use his horrible swing. Gwynn could be in that mix as well, though I would be kind of sad to see him as an extreme reward.

I think Aaron is pretty much the gold standard for having enough appeal for people to actually do it but not so much that anyone gets too upset about him being the reward lol
