I was fortunate enough to see this game on tv when it happened. I was a first year grad student at Indiana university, went to the student union for lunch, the game was on in the background. I skipped my afternoon clases because after the first inning I felt like something special was going to happen. I was a senior in High School. I remember watching the first few innings of it and falling asleep on the couch. Woke up as the game ended.

I never saw a curve like that before or since.
Not to mention a 95+ plus fastball.
It's a shame he had arm trouble. -

That’s pretty cool. This showed up on my YouTube recommended videos and I watched it recently. That was an incredible pitching moment for the ages.

One of the best games I’ve ever seen. I remember him shaking from the adrenaline and nerves in the postgame interview.
