Conquest, can we choose between home and away in 23?

It’s supposed to be you capturing their stronghold so it wouldn’t really make sense to do that in your home stadium.
I'm aware, but at LEAST let us choose the stadium

I'm all for doing a conquest each week and eliminating showdowns all together. And yeah, choosing stadiums would be cool.

I didn't realize that away teams should be able to dictate to the home team where to play their home games! I thought "home field advantage" meant something like the home team got to be in their home ball park!

By the same token I didn't realize that when the Yankees take over the homes of Baltimore and Boston that they tear down the stadiums there and put up an exact duplicate of their own stadium.
It has been a request of mine for years that the stadiums should be tied to the hexagons and not the team controlling the hexagon. That way, at least on the USA map, you get a chance to play in every stadium.

Dude it's a ficticious video game, having the player choose the stadium of play is not that big of a reach.

The thing they need to do is lock stadiums to strongholds. Even if the Astros take over the Texas stronghold (which they almost always do), when you play the stronghold game, it should be at Globe Life, even if the Astros own it.

If you get attacked and choose to defend you would be home. That would be the only thing that makes sense.

Slightly off-topic, I ask: If I didn't do goal 1, the turn based one in the Shark map, will I get the card at the end, and is there an XP bonus at the end like the program maps?

I think so. IIRC, the card is for clearing the board.

Unlike most maps, this one didn’t have the XP bonus. And even if it did, it would have expired with the last program.
