I have Ketel Marte at 2nd. I don’t have Jackie, and I haven’t been able to play in a couple days, so I don’t Biggio yet either. Though I may use Biggio at the C position.

I almost put Joe Morgan over Altuve but Altuve has legit power.

Altuve has, as they say, light tower power. He’s not a big guy, but he has thunder …

Is Gimenez 2B primary or SS? I’ve had him at 2B since I P5 retired Altuve, and he’s been pretty solid

    1. Jackie- I gave him the edge over Biggio because of speed.
    2. Biggio- could easily be one because he has catcher eligibility. Both Jackie and Biggio will be on my roster for a long time.
    3. MA- Carpenter- yes I know this is not his primary but you won't play him in the OF or 3rd because of all the other God tier cards there so he gets 2b. Sweet swing with pop just a little slow.
    4. HrD JoRam- again secondary but 3rd is too crowded as is. He is a switch hitter with power and great active quirks. Loved his LS, HRD card is even better. If I'm looking for power I'm playing him over the first 3 guys I listed.
    5. Chase- he as good for me but at the time I expected more because I unlocked him early. He was also a lefty when the meta was still lefty starters.
    6. FoTF- Jazz- had to put him on the list for sentimental reasons. The guy balled out until I unlocked Utley. He was fast and was a lefty that could hit lefties. Excited about his next card for sure.
    7. Most SS with 2b secondary. Prospect DE la Rosa, LS Tatis, any Seager card. SS was always an issue in the past but it is becoming a depth position where 2b has to be a place where you stash someone. I'm also played LS Judge and Finest Brett at 2nd, they did fine. By the end of the yearb might have one of the 99 OFs there. Trout can play 2b right?

Going around the diamond here and changed it from best to favorite as we l do well and enjoy using different cards. So who are your top 5 2B?

Javier Baez (although I play him at SS)
    Biggio
    Gimenez (AS card)
JRamirez (HRD while not his primary he does fine)

I loved that Jazz card too. Also for a while I was playing Shortstops at second. Before Biggio came out I was running De La Cruz at SS and Swanson at second. De la Cruz is so good.

Jackie Robinson and Joe Morgan are my top 2 each year
Then Francisco Lindor when it drops

Right now I just got Chase Utley so I’ll use him until I get my favorites

Jackie Robinson is my 2nd favorite player all-time, so once he's available, he's my 2B until the next game comes out. Honorable mention this year goes to 2022 AS Gimenez, who was definitely a pleasant surprise.

Thanks for all the input. I just got Biggio and Jackie and haven't used them much yet. I'll get a chance later today to really give them a go.

Other than them, my favorites are:

    1. Jose Altuve POTM
    2. Chase Utley Prime
    3. Joe Morgan Takashi
    4. Andres Gimenez AS 22
    5. And SS who I move over.

If you’re talking primary second baseman I’ll say

    1. Craig Biggio
      2.Chase Utley
    2. Vidal Brujan
      4.Andres Jiminez
      5.Jose Altuve

I almost put Joe Morgan over Altuve but Altuve has legit power.

Also Jackie will most likely be #1 as soon as I get him but Biggio is a beast for real.

Is Joe Morgan as good at getting on base as he was last year?

Yeah. Joe Morgan is really solid. He doesn’t have the pop like he did last year but I have noticed he comes up with clutch hits all the time. I played a mini season and he hit 3 walk off home runs in the same season. I probably should’ve put him in place of Vidal Brujan. Thinking on it now he probably is better.

That’s also not 99 Joe Morgan so I wouldn’t compare to last years just yet

Yeah Joe Morgan is great and as was mentioned above, it's only his 94. Once we get his 99 I expect to see he and Jackie on many teams though Biggio could also be the guy.

Correct his 99 card is always a beast. This years 94 card is way better than last years 94 card but this year still isn’t as good as his 99
