Your game looks awesome and there's a ton of content but it plays like [censored] and is just not fun. You can either hit or you can't- there is no "in between". I'm in my mid 40s(I know there are probably older players so I'm not trying to get into a "pissing" contest over age) and would like to sit down and mash baseballs around at will not have to "look for my pitch" on "ROOKIE" level to do so. On Rookie level 85% of pitches seen should be meatballs not balls out of the zone!
I and most of my friends are too old to worry about trying to "git good" at a meaningless baseball game, this should be an escape from the real world which is hard enough but unfortunately it's not. I could go on but what's the point.
I'm a die hard baseball fan that has tried to enjoy your game for the past 2 years but both times I have uninstalled your game before July even ends. It's been real, it's been fun but it hasn't been real fun. Cheers!

I have no problem throwing up 20 runs before the 5th, on rookie, in a HR stadium. I think it's more of the operator's gameplay.

    58 years old here.

I played a couple of games on rookie over the weekend to get PXP for the Ortiz program. So I was using Red Sox players of various types, including a few live series players. In those two games I had 57 hits, around 20 HRs and 40 runs. Shoot live series Chris Sale went 7-12 in those two games. In one of the games the CPU pitchers only threw 119 pitches total and I had 50 at bats so I only saw an average of 2.3 pitches per at bat.

It is possible. I am not a great player. I am an offline player who almost never plays above Veteran and who uses Zone but who does not move the PCI much at all and instead tries to wait for mistake pitches.

If you are not having fun though then I fully support uninstalling it and moving on. I did that for The Show '18 when I did not even make it to June.

I wish I could believe anything about this post but I just can’t nice try on the imaginary flex though.

Well, I have a feeling this will just get brushed under the rug.

There are many people who flex on here... @Dolenz_PSN isn't one of them.

OP is not wrong though. The idea and content of the game (well ok, last year’s game because I didn’t buy 22 so can’t speak from experience) FAR exceeds the gameplay in merit.

Personally, I’m having more fun now than I did last year trying to keep up with the grind. When the game gets annoying (as it always does) I can just turn it off and do something else.

I disagree. Rookie should be meatballs on 73% of pitches

OP's not wrong, at all. This game is far too difficult for casual/average players. Most of my co-workers love playing sports games, none of them will play the show because for them, it's far too difficult.

I got 2k22 for free over the weekend. I have only casually played the game, three or four years ago. I rolled through domination no problem, and I had a lot of fun doing it. MLB is MUCH more difficult for the majority of people, and as such, they choose a different sports game.

Many of you know it, but instead hop on here and say "get good". Yet, a month ago you were complaining about showdown, moments, etc.

If you accept the game as is, it won't change. That's your choice as a community, as I've already moved on to other games for the most part. Playing only conquest games when new maps pop up for fun.

That's not close to being a flex. I put up similar numbers in vs. CPU games while grinding the Red Sox players and the White Sox players and I'm also not a great player.

Are you finding games easily? I’m on the verge of giving up on 22 and going back to play 21.

Yes, I’m finding games whenever I want one. I’ve even played event games.

I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing. I also just liked the players/content more in 21 so I’ve been considering reinstalling 21 and just playing 22 when content really appeals to me
