How does SDS determine who goes to the FA list when on IL

Why are Haniger, Albies, etc they a FA in DD when Drew Pomeranz, Wander Franco, Austin Meadows stay active?
I understand leaving the high diamonds Tatis, Degrom but come on...stay consistent on the Gold and lower.

Yeah it would be great if they did it for Trout lol.

If they are a diamond...they will not be transferred to the FA list ever!!!

Diamonds will go to FA if they get put on the “bad guy list” like Bauer and Rivero.

Pomeranz had been out almost 12months and is on active roster.

Based on keeping a teams live series collection at a certain value.

Yeah I noticed they always throw Flaherty and Reyes into the FA pool when hurt. 2 things this studio excel in are sloppiness and inconsistency

Pretty sure if they're still on the teams 40 man roster they stay on that team's collection.

Depends on the teams roster construction. Typically, teams put a couple of players on the 40 man roster that haven’t debuted yet (or Rule 5 guys or other shenanigans.). That gives SDS some maneuverability in keeping 60-day DL guys on the 40 man even if they technically aren’t in the real world. But if a team doesn’t have those guys and new guys debut… something’s gotta give.
