Year after year after year…

Cliff Lee is always #31 when he’s supposed to be #33 as a Phillie! How is it that this code has been messed up since 19 and never fixed? SDS, come on now, I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. With guys numbers always being glitched and with online rated NEVER being updated to include alternate unis, this game is never made any better from year to year. People really need to stop being dumb and spending money on DD so that it wouldn’t be the only thing SDS spends any resources on.

Serious question here as I don't know the answer.
Do they have the ability to assign different numbers for the same player? I seem to remember flashback Pujols cards last year showing 55 instead of 5

Really don’t know but I assume so. Then do they have the ability to fix the glitches and just not care to? I wonder if Halladay Blue Jays cards show up as #32. Thankfully he is actually #34 for Phillies. On a positive note, both Castellanos and Hand flashbacks are appearing as their live cards numbers

Yes, Molitor's Blue Jay card is 19 and his Brewer card is 4

Thanks. Then I see no excuse for it.

Because companies no longer care about accuracy as much as turning a profit. If something is reported as a glitch, and it does not hinder gameplay to the point where people stop using real world money they will NEVER fix it. Ever. All glitches that were not fixed in the previous version will continue onward into every version thereafter.

The Silver Slugger Javy Baez has the same issue, he has his Tigers number instead of the correct #9 from his cubs days. What's weird is I was facing one of the mini seasons team and that same Baez card was on the teams roster wearing #9, makes no sense to me.
