Officially casting my vote for Ted Simmons card. He would be a coveted card being a switch hitting catcher.

I have been saying this for years, more so since he went into the HOF, and now it is even more important since we won't have a Yadi card next year.

Cardinals are losing any and all Pujols flashbacks next year, any and all Molina flashbacks next year and, depending on his decision, possibly no Wainwright.

That takes a chunk out the Cardinals Flashback cards.

I advocate for at least Ted Simmons and Chris Carpenter.

I grew up in Ted Simmons' hometown (Southfield, Michigan). I also use his name as my CAP since I like playing a switch hitting Catcher sometimes.. Totally agree with OP, just wonder how much he wants for the legend licensing fee....

I've also been wanting a Ted Simmons card for years. He was my favorite player growing up and he's in the HOF. It would be a great card.

Because let's face it, with Molina retiring and not in the game next year the only option for a flashback catcher is Joe Torre, and he only caught 107 games for STL before playing only 1B and 3B.

Who replaced him as the Cardinals catcher........
    Ding! Ding! Ding!
