Any power hitting card that swings at every pitch (I call it the blind squirrel)
Don’t worry about OF defense, they can’t rob all the home runs.
Make sure IF has common defense so they grab everything, especially at the corners.
Sinker, slider, cutter all outside of the zone
Also, the points don’t matter
Did NOT expect the common defense tip. Is it an animation thing?
He’s trolling you- have your never played ranked season before?
I’m not sure I quite understand what kinda info you’re looking for?
But together a team of your best cards and play a game.

Darn, I had been reading with some OF cards their fielding is too low but their speed is too high (Im unsure or something like that) some players get less than favorable animations out there that cause errors, hence the question on stats.
Championship Series with a little World Series '17-'20 and 22 is the first ive bought since then. I know the little things make the difference in online ranked, hence the question.
Thanks for the heads up about trolling though, I do appreciate it!

Bah, not trolling, just being funny….like other guy said, play with your best options, people you like, whomever….just by playing you’ll find out what works or doesn’t.
Some guys like really high vision, others want smaller, it’s why there are so many options and variances.
Roll with who you want.

Finishing up all the offline stuff today. Gonna hop into ranked.
Whats the "meta"? What stats/animations matter when picking or not picking players to use.
TIA
No real "meta" for hitters....or I guess its the same as always. Find guys with swings you like and do well with. I still rock 88 Mantle in CF although I'm very casual about ranked this year. (600-700s typically, minimal effort tbh).
Seems like you can get away with a bit worse defense in the OF this year. Contact and power and active quirks reign supreme. Vision and clutch just over inflate the overalls and really don't matter all that much. Speed is always nice. I prefer arm str over accuracy.
-
Wins and losses obviously
-
It's different for everyone but runs scored is thr stat most important to me. I usually find I win more games when I score more runs than my opponent.

I mean it’s the same premise- the higher the attribute # is
the better the card will be at that aspect of the game- and I don’t think there could ever be a thing as “too much speed” lol especially when talking about outfieldersReaction, fielding, speed and arm is what you want to look at

Not for the vision, the 73 con vs R, it will be a microscopic pci on HoF and L

Contact is low- he will be ok on easier difficulties like Veteran and all-star but his PCI will be very small on HOF and Legend
