Who are you top 4 or 5 or 6 All Star cards
-
Who are you looking forward to the most out of the 30 All Star Cards announced?
Mine in no order:
Manny Machado
Edwin Diaz
Corbin Burnes
Juan Soto
Justin Verlander
Tim Anderson
Julio Rodriguez
Jorge LopezI went with 4 from each league. Pick however many you want, just curious what you're all excited about.
-
Swanson and Acuna, when he gets his hrd card.
-
How would I know until they release all the attributes of all the cards?
-
Seager hrd card
-
I'll also do 4 from each league.
JRod
McClanahan
Verlander
Anderson
Harper
Soto
Machado
DiazI have a feeling Sandy and Burnes will be grossly overrated by this community as anyone with outlier sinkers always are
-
My top 5 for each league if we are forced into limited selection:, not listed in any particular order
AL: McClanahan, Ohtani, JD Martinez, J-Rod, Soto
NL: Alcantara, Burnes, Harper, Soto, and not sure on the 5th (Machado or Goldy probably?)As a Yankee fan, I'd love to just add that Judge card to the collection but I feel like his swing is always too slow. If they super juice his attributes, I might grab him anyway.
-
I’m actually more excited to see who the 30 flashback/legends are.
-
Jrod, Diaz, Rodon, Bednar, Burnes. All relievers/closers
There are so many that won’t be upgrades over my current lineup. Hopefully Juan Soto and Bryce Harper will have decent fielding stats. I am excited to see the hrd cards though. -
#1. 99 Jackie Robinson - for obvious reasons. Him and Joe Morgan play as my top two 2B
#2. The pitching - as any experienced DDer knows to always seek out the best pitching when mass content drops
#3. High diamonds for PR theme team - 95 Edwin Diaz 95 Jorge Lopez yes sir!
#4. Lefty bats - Juan Soto and Bryce Harper?!
#5. Still need a reliable CF so Aaron Judge and Julio Rodriguez will join the competition
#6. Paul Goldschmidt & Manny Machado
-
For me I'm most interested in the big name guys but actually right now I'm more interested now in that Julio Rodrguez.
Ohtani is one guy I always love using, and Judge is as well.
Harper and Soto might be good for me too.
For pitchers Burnes interests me a lot and so does Diaz and a few other guys there too. Not sure who I'll get first if I get a choice of them. -

Stats for DiazOh Diaz looks legit.
-
I wish they would give McClanahan a sinker or at least a cutter. I would love to be able to use him.

The same way you anticipate a movie or an album before it comes out. Have some imagination. I play offline and hardly ever look at attributes, but that's just me. I'm just curious who everyone is excited for.
-
I'm not really excited for anybody in this "One Sided Hitters of The Franchise" program... didn't help the whole stream the content guys never showed the break or control of any of the pitchers
-
That has to be worse than the very first program for me. There's better lower overalls that hit better I swear.
That Ohtani looks bad imo. They didn't even show all the cards either. Who decided these cards were gonna be this bad? -

Burnes looks devastating, McClanahan looks solid too.
As for the offense? They all looked legit. But again, I enjoy playing online about as much as getting a root canal with no novacaine so the attributes and quirks aren't quite as important. I'm just looking forward to having a bunch of new cards to use.

Having seen the attributes on streams and knowing we get 18, my picks are now:
ALE: JD, McClanahan, Lopez (HM: Judge as a yankee fan...his L contact is awful)
ALC: Soto, Gimenez and probably Anderson
ALW: J-Rod, probably JV (LS Ohtani might be better than AS Ohtani), and maybe Blackburn
NLE: Harper, Alcantara, Dansby
NLC: Castillo, Goldschmidt, Burnes
NLW: Machado, Mantipily and Gonsolinall subject to change.
