Shame they had the fielding good in 2019 for the most part, no reason to go backwards in 2020...

This year's fielding has better real life pace.....you people want it too acrady and that's a problem.
-
Diamond fielding sandberg made 2 errors in my game just now. Easy grounders, he boots them

No not arcady, realistic... just like last year when it first dropped and routine plays were getting pooched all the time, they addressed it and the fielding was decent in 2019 .... Now I’m seeing butter fingers all over the place ...

Dude, you're missing the point...the fielding this year is realistic in its timing...like real world actions...well as real as any of the other years.

No it’s not, errors are ridiculous, routine pops ups not locking on, it’s like playing JR High fielding, they don’t play like pro players..

Again you're missing the point!!! Dude, those things will be fixed with patches...I'm talking about the timing of the actions that relate to real world timing...see this is why I get upset with casuals/noobs.
-
Thing with patches is they always screw something else up that isnt broken. Too many times....close score and fielders dont lock into catches, just over run or whiff on the catches, runners lock in on a pickoff meaning easy outs for cpu, quick liners to first resulting in outs against you but not when the cpu does the same. Just so much wrong and already been quite a few patches already.
-
I agree it gets very glitchy sometimes. I have found if you do quick flicks of the stick, rather than holding it one way or another, it usually gets them out of that lost wandering mode. It’s not 100% but works most of the time for me.
-
Routine ground balls from second base are pulling the first baseman of the bag, even when the throwing indicator is in the green when using analog.
-
Fielding is bad, I have yet to actually snag a ball on a diving pay with a DIAMOND fielder, 99 fielders like Bader and Chapman, Always bounces off their glove

You sound like the casual noob, honestly ... These ridiculous errors have nothing to do with timing, so why are you even commenting on it ? How did timing even become part of the conversation ? Nothing wrong with timing, it’s balls pouncing off the head of the outfielder when he’s in position for an easy catch, it’s routine simple infield plays pooched for no dam reason, and it has nothing to do with user control or timing ...

You still didn't understand the timing point I was trying to make, anyways.....sure there are a few blunders in the infield, I had a couple the last game I played....I"m guessing its nothing that can't be fixed in future patches....that's why I wait a couple of months before I start my Franchise cause SDS seems to have the game polished after about 10 patches. As for outfield errors I've seen none, not even one in about a week of playing...prolly because I only play offline and they problem is just for noob online play.

I don't think reaction time has anything to do with infielders misplaying a 60mph roller 2-3 times a game. I'm pretty sure that's what everyone is talking about when it comes to fixing the fielding.

Ok, I feel ya on that... I"m confident also they'll patch some of the blunders up, game should get better as it rolls on ..
