FS Catchers

FOtF JT still plays great. I routinely play him over collection Mauer and Adley. JT has a great blend of speed and power and catcher pop time is a difference maker.
-
I tried Henry Davis and never had luck with him. Langeliers has been doing really well for me though
-
I use Mauer, but I have a team of guys I like I play against friends. The Taylor Ward, Dalton Varsho combo is a lot of fun too, but the future stars I like Korey Lee
-
Henry Davis did alright but I switched to Joey Bart and hit better but that’s just me
-
Tried all the future stars catchers, Bart was the best of the bunch but ended going back to Sanchez. I also have Carter now who is ok, but really want the Piazza in the Summer Program. Should get him in the next few days. Also have the stubs for Mauer, so may pick him up too.
-
Jimmie Foxx is also cheap and really good.

To make this short, I’m looking for a good budget catcher. Posada has always done well for me in past years, but his card out now is not doing it. So I am asking advice from people who use a Future Star catcher. I understand cards play different for everyone, but I’m curious if anyone uses one over the others.
Thank you
Daulton Varsho.. try ‘em, love em

Piazza in the Summer program hit 2 doubles and a homer first game for me

For me it’s Campusano. Has the best hitting stats out of all FS, and best swing for me. Davis is a close 2nd and is cheaper rn.

M.j Melendez is great for 20k, i also highly recommend Henry Davis , Joey Bart and Korey Lee. Also Adley Rutschman is worth a look if you can lock in the 25 prospects needed for him (should be easy enough as most are going for 1 to 2k)
However if you can get him the Joe Mauer collection reward is a total beast. He led my team to the championship in my most recent mini seasons run along with Carlos Santana (love that card)
Rutschman. Switch hitter. Good defense. Good arm. Just enough speed you won’t need to pinch run for him (I think, I don’t remember his speed stat of the top of my head).
Plus he is easy to get -

I use Mauer now, but I was using bench. His arm was gunning down every steal attempt.. just a little light with contact.. but that could be cause I suck

Believe it or not, Gary Carter 2nd Half 96- Mets collection is a monster for me. I couldn't hit with him to save my life. If you have Degrom and Scherzer, it's cheap.
Other options, Henry Davis is my favorite FS catcher, hits to all fields.
Finally, Varsho Monthly is a great hitter with some speed. And Carson Kelly FotF are great cheap or free options.
Mauer of course is great too but that's costly.

The Carson Kelly card was who I was using before Posada. I have Varsho, like his speed but - if I remember correctly - he cannot hit lefties. I do have the Astros FS catcher. I haven’t played much with him yet, but his speed is decent for a catcher, he has a good arm and has balanced hitting attributes.
As for Carter, I’m nowhere near the Mets LS collection, so I won’t be using him anytime soon. Thanks for the feedback.

[edit] misread something. I do plan on picking Piazza as one of the bosses, his hitting attributes look good.

Adley is my favorite but I value switch switch hitters a lot.

Plus he is easy to getYeah, I used his cards last year, I just need a couple more prospects. I guess I felt his card is not as good at this point.

As you can see, you’re gonna have to keep trying guys until one suits you. Don’t think there is a right or wrong answer
