Yordan is a good possibility. Highest OPS in the month, best batter WAR. One card that might be good, if they went this route, would be Alejandro Kirk. 4th best OPS in the month at C, tied for second in WAR. Decent swing, if I recall, using his LS in BR.

Other top hitters: Josh Bell was second in OPS. Schwarber led in HRs. Cronenworth, surprise, was T-2nd in WAR with Kirk. Dansby right behind.

Pitchers: McClanahan led majors in WHIP, right ahead of Gonsolin. Most Ks is an interesting group in Cease, Charlie Morton, Jon Gray, Aaron Nola. Cease had a 0.33 ERA. Opponents only hit .141 against Gonsolin. Most pitching WAR goes to Nola and Rodon, tied. Alcantara right behind.

    It will be Yordan Alvarez

I wish it was Yordan but it won’t be him. He already has a 90 overall. Plus his defense wouldn’t be great.

I’d love a Dansby card. One of the best swings in the game for me. I use his swing for my cap.

Of course he just got a POTM card last month so that ain't happening.

They refuse to give it to the actual best player of the month if they have a diamond card already, instead they’ll give it to some random gold player who had a “pretty good” month.

I get what you're saying but you're WAY off base with this considering Devers won for May.

Devers was certainly no "random gold player who had a pretty good month".

I mean, he's RAFAEL FREAKING DEVERS!

I don't recall a reliever getting it, but Edwin Diaz has been dominant.

Even if he's not the Lightning player, I'd love like a 94 Monthly Award card.

I thought last year's high diamond Diaz was underrated.

I know it’s going to be Yordan, but man a POTM Bryan Reynolds would be awesome.
