Why do people glitch the game
-
So while playing co-op, a Xbox player is constantly pausing it and not pitching. I watched a YouTube video and it said that could freeze the game. I just want to play, but why do players who are bad at the game have to do that to try and get a free win? Literally just want to play the game. Get these players out of the game SDS, please. It ruins it for the ones actually wanting to play and not have to cheat to get a win.

That’s why I don’t play online against others. Too many cheaters. It takes only one to ruin it, maybe two. So I just play offline franchise.

Well, we really need a sociological study to maybe answer this but, disregarding the "how" and the "why" we can keep it simple and say: people have become narcissistic piles of dung and video game makers are trying to produce digital heroin to manipulate these said people.

It's not just bad players. I am probably one of the worst hitters in the show, and I played a guy whose roster was better than mine, and he had a lot more experience than me. I can however pitch very well and kept it at least competitive for about 5 innings before he broke it open. Then he began bunt cheesing, steal cheesing (which I was able to deal with), but for some reason he even tried field cheesing.
By that he kept making it look like he wasn't going to catch a ball and try to get me to go for the next base. Back when I was about 12 my friends and I all did that to each other in the days before online play so that didn't work, and I think he just wanted to see if he could finally break me and make me rage quit by watching every possible replay. I managed to hang on and play the full game, but I was more frustrated at this person's actions than the actual loss.
I do wish SDS would actually take action against toxic players, but I bet that if you did enough research, the toxic players are the ones who spend the most real world money to get players they are too lazy to grind for. I don't even bother reporting because after a short time I have calmed down and play offline mode to see if I can practice to use what I learned from my being beaten.
I just don't get it. He was clearly going to win and we both knew it. Why turn into a [censored] after you know you have the win and bonuses in the bag?
