But MVP Baseball will be on GamePass so I may try it. I still prefer The Show though.
Can't say you prefer one when the other doesn't exist yet. For all we know MVP Baseball 2024 may be the greatest baseball game ever made.

It could be, but lets at least see what EA brings to the table next year with probably the most anticipated sports title ever(NCAA football). If that is a good game, I will buy MVP baseball. If not there is no chance I give it any time

I don’t know if the EA baseball game will be good or not but I do know that competition forces these companies to make the best game possible. So this is a good thing for all of us. Not only will there be a 2nd baseball option but we’ll also get the best version of The Show possible. This is a win win for everyone.

It could be good or bad really. The first year the NBA live reboot came out 2k was really good and once 2k's devs realized how far away NBA live was from them they actively made it worse. EA has to prove they have a product that can stick around before competition really matters

I don't buy any sports games other than this one anymore. It's strictly single player games, this game, and the occasional Rocket League or Apex. I really doubt I buy two baseball games unless I really have a reason to

Competition is good but EA is a terrible company. Don't expect a great game from them. They completely ruined Madden. I played it for over 20 years before I finally gave up a few years ago and stopped buying it.

Madden is a great game. The franchise is so strong with supporters. They have been in the game for how long....
That's right far longer then San Diego has.....
EA will get it done.

If EA can prevent it being pay to win with micro tranactions & limits it to being for only ingame currency like SDS does with stubs. Then I geel they can put a great product out that will give SDS a new found priority to really change & improve stuff for the best. Many remember how awesome EA MVP 04 & 05 was for it's time. It was without a doubt the BEST Baseball game out at the time. If EA follows that original mold & applying the lastest modern tech & software to it. And can offer enough content without it being micro transactioned. Then it surely will be better then MLBTS.
Too many are frustrated & tired & disappointed with what MLBTS has become. The compliants, rants & comments in here are like a plague. EA releasing MVP again will have many flock to it just to try it & see for themselves if it is better or not. If it is better for most. Then SDS will have lost a big huge chunk of people.
I myself can not wait for the release of EA MVP Baseball again.

The games in 04 and 05 were not online... therefore no need for any micro transactions. So if the game didn't have a DD type mode they could do it, but that would not be a very popular game.
You can't have content in game without micro transactions.

I hope this was sarcasm. Madden is a great game? I have played every version of Madden since day 1, the last 2 or 3 years the game has gotten progressively worse to the point where it's practically unplayable now. This was the first time in its history I didn't own it day 1, I waited until it was free on EA Play. I barely played it this year at all.
So strong with Supporters? Most people trash this game on both the main community forums worse than they trash SDS here.
