Throwing in the dirt is an option.

It is if you enjoy 15 pitch at bats cause they somehow foul off a pitch bouncing in front of the plate with very early timing 8 out 10 times

I mean Vlad Guerrero proved that you can swing at any pitch no matter where it is and still become a hall of famer.

Yeah let's use the 1 player in 50,000 that's able to it as the reference case.

They have just made it easier to hit this year. It is harder to pitch this year. I think it makes for higher scoring games and I like it.

I mean, it’s just simple statistics. The more swings you take, the more chances you have to hit the ball. Duh. Every time you take a pitch, you are missing out on opportunities for no doubters.

I beat a guy earlier 4-0 he was swinging at everything but the fact he had 5 base hits , I took my time waited on my pitch to swing at and sent it over the wall twice with ruth and once with devers i always take a couple of pitchs cause i feel if i swing in 0-0 counts if i square ball up it rarely rewards me but if i square it up in a 3-2 count its gone so i dunno how people are getting no doubters on very early swings early in counts , I believe the hits give more chance of reward if you took a good swing later in counts the only pitchs i try and swing at during early counts are balls right down the middle or obvious hanging in the zone with a good chance to smack it , Ill literally just take strikes if its fast balls or dots early in counts
