No supercharged Carpenter?

Mustache deserves a +10 across the board regardless.
-
Stupid question but what happened to the Yankees no facial hair policy? Does it not apply to mustaches?

Does he deserve one?
First Yankee ever with 6 bombs in his first 10 games as a Yankee.
He plays in a stadium that's easier to hit in. So.... No

Yankees have always allowed mustaches. Don Mattingly obviously had one his entire career and even guys like Jason Giambi and now Nestor Cortes have adopted the look.

Forgot about mattingly. That’s a good point of reference.

You gotta be kidding me??? Nobody else has ever done it. Dude couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn for 3 years. I’m from STL so I know.

Look, if you're a pitcher, with pitching coaches having scouting reports, knowing how average Carpenter has been, why would you pitch to like he is Judge?
It's obvious that he wasn't being pitched like he was going to hit Homeruns. I stand by what I said. Yankee stadium has always been a hitters paradise.Same with Coors Field.
-
That's why sometimes you get a rookie to do something incredible. Because the other team didn't feel threatened.
If Carpenter joined the A's, Giants, or other teams with a pitcher friendly park, he would be an average to below average player. His career was rejuvenated as a Yankee. -

But what about the MLB Park factors where statistically San Francisco is more hitter friendly than New York ️
-
Really? I guess you never watched a game there.
Odd you quoted Coors Field.
More foul territory. More room down the lines. Have you ever been to an A's or Giants game?
Also the Yankees were playing the Cubs. And looking at the box score, dudes got protection. He also has a new swing.
Again, I stand by my statement. He wouldn't have had such a great 10 games anywhere else except Coors.
Oh how was Cano doing in Seattle? I'm sure he'd love to come back to the Yankees.

Anyway, grats to Carpenter....
