I don’t like PCI Anchor
-
I really like it. I feel like it opened up how much I can cover.
-
I like it. I set it down low for power hitters and up high for contact hitters. For those that throw 100+, I keep it middle to the pitcher's arm side.
I fond it doesn't work well if you have it low for contact hitters or high for power hitters.

I guess what was mentioned above. It cannot hurt if you dont use it. It doesnt really move from center enough to use effectively IMO. So if you like it use it if not then dont. It is just a visual thing more than anything.

I really like it. I finally settled on a good anchor strategy that suits my skill. I start armside/mid height for every batter. So if I'm righty/righty my anchor is inside/middle and if I'm facing Randy with Trout my PCI is outside/middle. I always preload my PCI to middle/in. If it's same hand pitching I like to be quicker to inside pitches, which is why the anchor is in that area. I don't need to be as quick to outside pitches as I can take them to the other way anyways and it's easier to track them away with same handedness.

I only use it on submarine sinkers like Oday of Cishek that always seem to throw lower than you think. Works like a charm.

I love it to sit on Sinkers, like for Alcantara who throws a lot as well!
BOOM, there it goes! -

Don’t use it then.
I don’t like Mayo, so I don’t eat it. -

No, I don’t use it either for two main reasons:
- It R2s your opponent (as if you’re holding R2) when you’re setting it up.
- Seems like I would get used to it as a crutch and be worse off in the end.

That’s what how I perceive it, like some type of crutch. Especially now that I can’t see my opponents pci.
I could sit high and in and swing at everything close and foul off a lot of pitches until I get one where I’m sitting and boom, good contact with zero effort.
I also noticed it makes me swing at more junk, that’s a me problem but IDK why.

I used it once just to get the Xbox achievement. I'm sure it works great though.
-
I don't really use it that much. I haven't quite figured out how to use it effectively with how I play and it doesnt by default cover the spots I seem to miss.
-
So what is everyone using instead? Directional? I am using it and suck with it.
-
I haven't liked it, but that's because I have never been able to use the PCI from a stopped position. I always have my stick moved, it is easier to move from a moved position. So I got no advantage out of locking it. I had hoped maybe it would help not move the pci as far, but it didn't seem to help there either.
So since I need the stick loose I have always preplaced the PCI.
However since it's totally optional, I wouldn't ask them to get rid of it for those who do like it, if you like to move from a locked position, I'm sure it's great.

I wouldn’t ask to get rid of it as it is benefitial for some people, especially ppl with disabilities. I’m considering turning it off, I’m tempted to use it in every AB even tho I can’t see how it benefits me.

I don't use it. Turned out more harmful than good for me personally. Don't think its enough of a crutch to be an issue either, so it's just kind of there

I don't mind it, but you can sit up and in or anywhere without it if you want too so its not that big of a deal
