Wandy Peralta: What does he have to do?
-
Why hasn’t the show updated Wandy Peralta? I understand they’re so many players within the game to keep tabs on. I’m sure there’s 1 or 2 of these kinds of players on each team. However, if you look at Wandys statistics since joining the NYY he has been incredibly solid. Yet, 67 overall with 69 potential.
It is what it is but it just bothers me a little. I mean 70, 71? Not expecting any huge, just respect.

Meh, BB/9 and K/99 are very mehhhhhhh and those two are huge factors in overall

What's that mean? He is exactly right. Pitcher ratings in this game live or die by the K/9 rating. Its why a pitcher like Adam Wainwright can have a sub 3.00 era this season but has been downgraded twice. He's effective but he's not effective in the only way SDS seems to measure pitchers.

@Dolenz_PSN im laughing for two reasons.
1 - I already knew that and understand that’s how the game rates pitchers for the most part. Just wish they’d try to see other aspects that are just as important if not more.
2 - because he / and now you - are acting as if I was saying Wandy should be an 80. He is 67 and I think 70, 71 is respectable regardless. His numbers as a Yankee are very good.

I am not disagreeing that Wandy (and Wainwright) should be higher. I complain about their reliance on K/9 quite often.
