I'm not saying you're wrong. I just can't play HoF online. the PCI is too small for me to use with an analog stick. Kudos to you fellas who can, but I making precise movements is just not something these thumbs were built for. Now if I had some sort of twin stick controller...
What they mean is that they would be able to win easier in BR if it were on HoF. It makes it harder for people with less reaction time. That is all they care about. Same discussion every year and these guys have to same old argument. I personally do not care either way, but them saying the game plays better on HoF just means it plays better for them on HoF. They are not looking out for the community like they want you to believe. They just cant say, "Make BR HoF so that I can win more often." Does not sound as nice. They HATE the fact that they can lose on All Star and that it gives other people with slower reflexes a chance.
So in a game mode where the goal is to go 12-0, you think the lesser players should win?
Also, it's not just because I'll win more. It's legitimately more fun. It's not fun when players with no plate discipline keep fouling off my pitches way out of the zone, and I can't throw a high fastball ever because they regularly get crushed. There are almost no strikeouts on All Star. It's awful.
I get tons of Ks on AS, what are you on?
I'd like to see your stats because I'm 28-4 in ranked seasons so far this year and my universal profile says I average 1.67 k/9 online.
Wow, I don’t know how that is physically possible, with pitch speeds on AS definitely faster than last year. Fastballs high, junk in the dirt all day.
It depends on who you are playing. Really good players crush high fastballs on All Star.
A lot of the stuff low gets fouled off too.

Really good players crush the ball on All-Star? You sure? Because most of them complain constantly about playing on All-Star. Oh wait, that's right, it is because perhaps their opponent can hit the ball too. I almost forgot that the game mechanics need to heavily favor good players because they are so good.

You keep wanting to go back to that. I said my primary argument was that the game plays better on HOF. You seem to be trying to turn it into so elitist thing like I'm bragging about being good and I'm acting entitled, when in reality I'm advocating for the game mode to be on a difficulty that better simulates baseball, which is the point of the video game, to simulate baseball.

Despite your hate for the premise, a smaller pci makes for less inconsistency in results, hence the “game plays better on hall of fame” comments, if BR is going to give out to give out the best rewards then yes worse players should have less of a chance to win.
why? Because you say so or it should just be so.?I believe even the lesser players buy the more expensive versions of the game than just standard so they should not get a chance at any of the good rewards or just settle for buying packs and try and get those diamonds. You can't have your cake and eat it to so to speak. This wouldn't be a video game if it was that way because they would sell less copies that way because you want it to be a competition just for the good players.I'm not saying the better player shouldn't win at all but it just can't be that way or SDS loses money and we know they're not gonna do that..BTW who always wants to win and beat their chest all the time and say I'm the best losing only makes u a more gracious winner or an absolute A$$

The game plays better for you on HoF. I get that because the pci is tiny there's less room for wierd results, but if I cant get the PCI on the ball at all and cant get around on fastballs does it really play better for me?

In a game mode where they give out the best rewards, the gameplay should play accordingly aka hall of fame or legend, why should a lesser mode like events which gives out worse rewards play on a harder difficulty than the mode that currently gives out the best rewards? Logically that doesn't make any sense.

I don’t think the universal profile stats are accurate. Look in the RS standings for your actual amount of K’s.

I get that but to be real honest then they need to do skill base match making then go by records or stats or by who makes WS and stays at a certain point of 700,800 and so forth and match those people up so it gives the lesser a chance period with guys on their level. I'm not ever gonna make WS or do a 12-0 BR run playing against the likes of the top players ever but if I get match on Legend or HOF with guys my speed or playing lvl at least I have a chance and if I lose it was on me not because I got mashed by a top 5 player which I did the other night by McGuigan but I understand the top guys deserve the best rewards but win it against guys on your level not at my expense I paid for the game just as you did and as I said without the trash players buying this game you wouldn't be playing this anyway because 1 your going against the best and getting stomped or not enough sales to keep SDS is business

I get that but than why should my $100 copy help fund your DD because your better than me and will get all the good cards playing a game we both bought exactly the same just maybe a different version in price.Just match the WS players against WS players and the lower tiers vs those in that same tier and if I hold or do better than expected move me up or drop me down depending on how I do.It's like that now somewhat so might as well go all the way with it..

Even the best players in the world aren’t going to go 12-0 if they’re playing the best players in the world every game, BR is an open mode to all, to offer the best rewards in the game on all star is just illogical

Because you say so or it should just be so.?I believe even the lesser players buy the more expensive versions of the game than just standard so they should not get a chance at any of the good rewards or just settle for buying packs and try and get those diamonds. You can't have your cake and eat it to so to speak. This wouldn't be a video game if it was that way because they would sell less copies that way because you want it to be a competition just for the good players.I'm not saying the better player shouldn't win at all but it just can't be that way or SDS loses money and we know they're not gonna do that..BTW who always wants to win and beat their chest all the time and say I'm the best losing only makes u a more gracious winner or an absolute A$$
In a game mode where they give out the best rewards, the gameplay should play accordingly aka hall of fame or legend, why should a lesser mode like events which gives out worse rewards play on a harder difficulty than the mode that currently gives out the best rewards? Logically that doesn't make any sense.
But, and this is not meant as a slight it is just a legit question, if you can’t beat really good players why should you be eligible to get the same rewards against lesser players?
I get that but than why should my $100 copy help fund your DD because your better than me and will get all the good cards playing a game we both bought exactly the same just maybe a different version in price.Just match the WS players against WS players and the lower tiers vs those in that same tier and if I hold or do better than expected move me up or drop me down depending on how I do.It's like that now somewhat so might as well go all the way with it..
The best at things usually get the most reward, that’s just life, the best players get the best contracts, the best actors/actresses get the most movies etc.

To put it into a real life situation what you’re saying is Mike Trout should only have to face pitchers like Jacob Degrom and Max Scherzer every at bat because he’s the best and someone like say Randall Grichuk should only have to face someone like Chris Archer

For the record, I dont care if BR is on HoF or whatever. I dont play it for the rewards personally. But if you put it on HoF there needs to be another mode on all star that isnt RS.
Again, I dont care about rewards, I just want to play games against people on my skill bracket on a setting where I dont strike out 19 times a game.

I have played the best, I have beaten guys in the top 20 before, I’ve lost to guys in the top 20 before, the difference between you and I is if I match up with a top player in a BR game I know I have to be at my best to get it done, I’m not thinking “I shouldn’t have to play this player to get a great reward”

To put it into a real life situation what you’re saying is Mike Trout should only have to face pitchers like Jacob Degrom and Max Scherzer every at bat because he’s the best and someone like say Randall Grichuk should only have to face someone like Chris Archer
again your trying to put RL aspect into a video GAME..It's not a competition for all of us.You maybe me no.I play all modes and do the best I can but should that limit me from being rewarded?Your saying yes because you really don't care because you have already been to the mountain top so instead of reaching down to lend a hand you cut the rope and let them fall so again tell me how you really feel.My money for a GAME should fund your rewards and good game play because your better than me right?
