Troy Glaus/Michael Young/Frank

I think Frank is really good this year. I was formerly on the train of his swing being too slow. Maybe it’s just me but he’s performed better for me this year than any other.
Troy Glaus is a really good card as well. Gets high exit velocities when you square it up. Only knocks on him are low contact against righties and speed. But he’s still very good and i platoon him with Jram at 3rd until I get Brett
Michael Young is hit or miss. I have him up to P4 which gives him 80 power. He gets tons of gapshots and the occasional no doubter. He’s solid in the field, will get you a lot of basehits but he’s probably the least popular of the 3 options. I personally like him and start him, but he’ll be the first position I upgrade when I see a SS that catches my eye
I’m surprised Young is meh just considering his stats jump off the page. You have to try Brandon Crawford at SS if you can swing the stubs. He’s absolutely awesome. That’s who I’m using at ss. Young would play 2nd for me.

Don’t have the stubs atm but been very tempted to get Crawford and have only heard good things. Plus I love lefties
Young has a decent swing and can surprise you with pop at times, I’ve just not been blown away by him

What are your thoughts on these three cards? Just completed the AL and I was wondering how “useable” they are. Currently have Machado at 3rd, Franco at 2nd and Rizzo at first. Hit around .330 with both Franco and Machado with decent power #s. Rizzo absolutely rakes for me hitting around .430 with like 25 hrs in 125 or so abs. Just wondering if it’s worth it to replace those starters with these three cards. All those #s are online, not offline.
Thomas as been better for me this year than last. Feels like he doesn't have that long slow swing.
Glaus has good glove & arm with a lot of power. Doesn't make as much solid contact because of his vision, but I do like his swing though.
Young is solid. Not a lot of pop, but will slap it around for you because of his vision. Glove is good, Arm is decent. -
For me, Thomas is a great card. High average and hits a good amount of HR's. Troy hits the ball really hard pretty much every at bat. He cracks out a lot of HR's, but also a lot of line outs. I play him at 3B with JRam at 2nd as of now. I started really well with Young, but went cold really fast. He is only hitting like .280 for me now. Going to try Gunnar or may go back to Seager.

Thomas has been my best hitter this year. Young has been excellent as well, though in my 8 spot. I find that Glaus doesn’t have the contact vs RHP to be viable on higher difficulties and I struggle with his swing.

Just finished up the AL so I dont have a ton of experience with them yet, but,
JRam and Frank are my favorite hitters. Getting more perfect-perfect's with them than anyone. Young and Glaus are good, but with all the 95s coming out now seem replaceable. I also have way too many righties.

If something ain't broken you don't have to fix it
You hit good with those guys so why would you replace them

I'm batting .550 with Bell through a 15-0 ranked start, but I just got Frank. Kind of hard to sit him and start Bell

I get what you say, but if in real life a guy would have those numbers no way he would have been replaced right

The Michael Young card is absolute trash for me. I hit better with his gold card. Frank and Glaus are fun.

I platoon JRAm and Michael young(unless JRAm is playing up against lefties), frank is currently my starting 1B until I get babe. However with the new devers POTM card that probably is your answer for 3B
