I have no idea what is going

Can someone explain to me whats going on in this game right now? Like I took about 5 days off from ranked seasons just to hop on a go down 5 runs in 3 games. I quit in all 3 of them. I never quit on all star unless I'm really frustrated. I think my last quit put me in pennant race. I'm so glad I'm enjoying my hero ones justice cause man ranked seasons is in the worst state its ever been in the show history. Like can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You're letting your opponents score more runs than you. That can be fixed by either pitching better or hitting better. Or, preferably, both.
On a more serious note, I find that against most players the key to pitching is velocity. 98+ MPH primary pitch + a good offspeed pitch is all you need until you go up against most really good players. And I don't know how to beat those either

You also have to hang in and grind. I went down 6-0 after two yesterday. Almost quit because it seemed like the guy was hitting everything I threw at him. Kept my composure and won on a walk off bomb in the 9th 9-7.

No bro i mean why is ranked seasons so terrible. I was a ws player last year and I'm in pennant race. I know how to hit and pitch.

I've been grinding man hitting and pitching is [censored] right now. This is the worst ranked season I've ever experienced. They need to fix hitting or pitching. At least one or the other
