Solid idea, would be a cool “other programs” to throw in there down the road. But they gave us a Phillies program specifically because they brought Halladay back into the game

If Wainwright retires this year it will be to spend more time with his family. He’s not yet said it was his final year. I will miss Yadi but you can tell it’s time to retire.

Waino comfirmed this is his last year pre-season. But the way he is pitching who really knows.

We got a heavy phillies program because Halladay was a new legend. At this point in the year, nobody would get excited about a yadi card or a waino card, Pujols considering they never give him his live series swing should get a sig series this year. Waino and Yadi will probably be in a new pack or something this year.

I believe their reason was "We're sorry for so many years of only giving you Mike Schmidt and Richie Ashburn", which is the kind of thing they'd do to people in Gitmo or Vorkuta. -

At this point in the year, nobody would get excited about a yadi card or a waino card, Pujols considering they never give him his live series swing should get a sig series this year. Waino and Yadi will probably be in a new pack or something this year.
While I agree that online players would not use Waino or Yadi, offline players might. I know I would use them almost exclusively. Waino's curveball owns the CPU.
My thing is that if these guys retire then there is no telling how quickly or slowly they may be added back as legends so send them off in style and give those of us who are fans I chance to use the boosted cards for a good chunk of the year.

This is an excellent idea and it’s very reasonable! What Waino is doing now is really unbelievable the way he’s pitching. Waino closer or starter could be very filthy with the right pitch mix. Back in ‘06 he could reach 96/97 so so that card could be dope. 98 Molina and 99 Pujols would be dope of course!

Agreed. But since it's the almighty CARDINALS, everyone (ok 2-3 people) would love it!
