Chase Utley

I felt the same early on and he grew to be one of my best hitters. Give it some time.
-
Utley started off slow for me. But after 200 AB's online, he's hitting close to .400. I had to get use to his compact swing.

Where are you batting him? Top of the lineup, middle or bottom part?

I didn’t sleep well last night, I’ll take a nap and keep playing the event later, maybe my reaction time is affected by lack of rest

Right now he bats 5th after Thomas and I put Ketel Marte and Ernie Banks in 6 and 7 respectively. But eventually he will probably bat either 7th or 8th when I obtain guys like Ruth and Brett.

I just bought Trout yesterday. I still need Ohtani to complete the American League. Need Acuna, deGrom, Scherzer, Tatis, Machado and Arenado for NL. Man, I play this game a bunch and not even close to any collections yet. Exactly what happens if you don't do the following:
spend money
multiple 12 win runs in BR
flip cards
get extremely lucky with pullsWithout the above, you see where playing time gets you.

You are forgetting an extremely easy way to make stubs and that is win 30 event games. If you sell all the cards from events its quite literally 70k stubs a week(not that its necessarily easy to win 30 event games but its a better option than every one of those
except flipping cards) -

I made a thread about him being . People said give it time but now over 100 plate appearances with only 1 HR and a messily .172 BA. Everyone on my team in batting atleast a .33 and above I don’t get it. I’m seriously thinking about benching him as well. He bat #7 in my lineup and has been a dud so far.

Finally unlocked him and I’m ready to bench him.
It took a few games, but I will say this Lefty Lefty matchup Utley excels
-
I unlocked him on Tuesday. Couldn’t hit with him to save my life. Just need to patient with him. He bats 7th for me and hits everything now

Eh, I won Trout in my 12-0 BR run.
I've completed all of the LS besides Tatis Jr. I'll have him today.
I do work full time (from home) & am able to grind out pretty much the entire xp from each program so far...and it didnt hurt that i've completed MTO twice on HOF with longshots. I enjoy playing that mode tho, so that may not be the best strategy. But yo, No Money Spent is great in this game. Just keep grinding & you'll be ight.

I’m in the same boat, NMS with a full time remote job, it’s doable but the grind is biggrr this year for sure.
I would’ve been done but wanted to have fun and blew 75K on packs!

I agree, but if you already have them all its still a guaranteed 35k or so from just the rewind packs. And demise acting like it was impossible to even do the live series he should probably do that first before legends and flashbacks is even a thought

Yeah true if you own the cards already and play every event then it could be beneficial.

I have played a ton and no where near having Brett. I have 1 voucher but no cover athletes or Takashi as I sold them to get AL done.

I think Utley is great personally.

Oh, I love ripping packs. It feeds the impulses. After finishing LS, ripping packs def loses it's luster a bit.
