Was nice knowing the content team. Been a pretty good run. Not sure where they happen to be these days, but yeah... Let's keep pumping out lots of other garbage in the interim.

Wait, let's throw out 30 fake series cards...
He's on the legend roster again, so y'all didn't lose rights. He's not a trash can banger, so that narrative won't work.
I'm only one person. I know I'm not moving the needle here. But, I am extremely disappointed.
Astros have been under represented this game cycle. Majority of the content released continues to pile up in the L column.

It sucks. I really hope he is released soon and his card is on par with the current 1st basemen.

If any other team won 3 pennants in 5 years there would be SO many flashbacks. Can't say it's because the astros cheated because the Yankees and Redsox getting a new player every week.

Content team has ZERO logic for continuity this year.
Let's drop multiple diamond Yankees 1B all within the first quarter...

Here's Jimmy Rollins for the event. But wait, let's drop a Phillies SS as the fake series card...
It's not just Bagwell. It's a thoughtless bunch this year. I mean, we had 23... Yes, 23 Yankees on page 2, when the next highest was 13. Most had 11-12. Some as low as 9.
It's really bad optics this season and extremely disappointing from a 49 year old person's perspective.
I've been looking for that thing which has turned me off to the game this year. I think it's this release methodology.

Now that you mention it I remember waiting until Christmas last year for Griffey. Maybe I will go back to 21 and hit some bombs with the Griffey we had to wait 9 months for.

Go watch the YouTube video of the All Star game where he strikes out Reggie. Reggie and the catcher missed the ball. Was not a slider or a running FB.
JR was the reason I started following the Astros back in 1978 living in NYC. Sorry, but something other than the two he has was appropriate. Don't try to tell me that these fake series cards have 5 pitches with speed differentials 15-20 mph apart.

They have given sinkers to so many pitchers that do not throw or did not throw sinkers.

People usually have to wait for Pujols too.
Griffey was a long wait, yeah. You had quite a few years of him though.
Anyways for those who have played since 15-16, late released cards used to get early releases the subsequent years.
My issue reaches beyond Bagwell specifically. SDS has punted here with too many repeats intra-year and not enough representation across all teams not named the Yankees (or Phillies this year).

Oh, and in case you missed the concept of MLB the Show card attributes, they try to mimick a body of work over a certain time period. Fake Series get their little league attributes. I'm just looking for a wider team representation here, along with my personal preferences of players I enjoyed watching play the game.

Fake Series cards. Absolutely. I don't use them except for required missions. Been that way since they first were introduced.
Stop playing. Pretty much have already.
Complaining about the game? Na. Everyone does enough of that already. I'm just calling out facts about the lack of logic for card releases this year.
I support the game and staff more than 90% of the people here on TSN. The way they are releasing cards this year is horrible (in MY OPINION). Back in my original post, I advised that I had no expectations of resolution here.
Heaven forbid someone vent.

We have a private league of guys that use DD cards for friendly games. Bagwell gets over 600 ab a year regardless of the crappy swing. He was juiced about 3 years ago IIRC, but that swing rivals Schmidt in terms of resembling Bantha Poodu.
Bags is still my boy.

Hahaha... I actually did like Bags a lot and Schmidt as well growing up. But yeah omg this game both have horrible swings.
