If you want to maximize profit before the big collection, invest in the previous programs diamond cards that are only available in the market now and the diamond BR cards. Those cards skyrocket in price since there’s only 1 spot to get them from. Even having only 1 duplicate of each can give you tons of stubs. Ernie Banks, Eddie Mathews, Chipper Jones, Jason Bay, David Price, Alec Bohm. Those are only a handful of cards who price will skyrocket Friday.

… unless they wind up in rewind packs in the new program…

This. Since I pulled a Gold Legend FB, that was from the first program, out of a Chase pack; I wouldn't it past SDS purposely putting previous Program specific cards in the reward path of this next program.

If they put diamonds in rewind packs they’ll get so much hate from the community. Having to grind BR to 100 points to get a diamond choice pack and then being able to get it simply from xp in an inning program would definitely not go over well with anyone so I don’t think diamonds would ever be in the rewind packs until the last inning program. Maybe precious diamonds from earlier programs but BR and the WS cards shouldn’t ever be in packs.

Who’d you pull? I don’t buy packs so I’ve never even opened a chase pack. But I don’t think they’ll put a BR or WS diamond card in a rewind pack considering how much grinding it takes to get them. It wouldn’t go over well.

After what they did with FOtF and Steve Cishek no thanks. I bought as many Zack Britons as I could at the end of last program and sold them all yesterday to double my profits. No cards are rare this year with World Series being given out as a participation award, whatever makes BR cards easier to obtain and event rewinds.
This is not financial advice.

AS Scott Kazmir. He was part of the Gold Legend/Flashback packs you got where you could pick one card per division for the AL and NL teams. One set was all AL and the other was all NL. They were no sell.
Then SDD put them back into the reward path for the second program; but this time they were sellable.
Now I guess they can be pulled from regular packs.

The already have rewind packs in the ranked program for the first seasons rewards. All rewards from the first featured program are in standard and chase packs. The only cards that are currently unobtainable by any means other than buying them are the original 5 12-0 rewards, Santo, whoever the first BR 90 point guy was, and the 5 Spring cleanup bosses. That will change soon too

Yeah, I loaded up on 5 each of the SCU bosses thinking they would be 'extinct' until the end of the year; but I guess I'm selling them now just incase.
Seems like they're making it harder to make stubs unless you can constantly go 12-0 or make WS.

You aren't going to need stubs with the path they are going down though. They are handing out all the cards so many times that they are all dirt cheap.

I am really starting to feel this way myself. I think especially if people are patient, they will pretty much be able to get whatever they want. At this point I am way ahead of where I was at a year ago and I am spending way less time in the market.

I'm no where near where I was a year ago(I'm 35 cards from having all of them, but that number was closer to single digits this time last year). That being said my time spent flipping has been extremely minimal

Last year was my first year, so it took me a bit to figure some things out. I had a plan this year, but then the market didn’t work like the craziness it was last year and I probably overworked for a few weeks. Now that things have opened up, I am spending very minimal time and the lower cost of most things have helped. I started the year focusing on Legends and Flashbacks and kind of took it slow with Live Series. I think working backwards really helped me out.

To finish the LS Collection I will. Still need most of the Big 90+ players.

Everyone’s overthinking it Diamond BR and WS will still go up in price. Even with the WS rewind pack not enough people get it to keep the price where they are now. Gotta be smart with your investments and clearly you guys don’t know what to invest in

Golds and silver do NOT jump the most. If you invest in silvers especially you’re losing so many stubs

Ok thanks I guess I didn't make a million stubs or more per collection last year - yes BR rewards generally go up over time but not for collections as they become scarce they go up - for collections Silvers and Golds - rookie, breakout, all-star, veteran are all stub makers
