Something wrong with the market

The only way to get Delgado is the chase, essentially via 50 pack bundles so live series were being ripped at a rapid rate and thus drove down prices. I managed to scoop up every diamond I needed but the gatekeepers and bought a couple extra on some things while prices were low.
I’m trying to flip a chest protector but some posterior hole (if you will) must have bought enough stubs to fight a bidding and selling war with me until the end of time

Flipping has always been risky. I will say no one saw them putting FOTF in packs at this moment. I figured they would eventually be in special packs that would be released with a promo and they would crash hard. I just did not see them doing it on a Tuesday with nothing put a headliner and chase pack update. I was glad for the crash because I was able to buy Vlad Jr and finish LS.

I feel like it was better last year. This year the margins are too close to bother flipping a lot of the time. As a no money spent player, it stinks

It is just proof that like myself most everyone who plays is a pack addict

It is probably harder on LS Cards given the quick sale value changes. However, given your earlier comment, I can tell you that you're flipping the wrong things. I too am NMS but I've collection completed for two weeks and have 500k in assets not locked it to collections. I suggest that you pick a few different cards and write down their buy and sell now prices at four different times of the day. Do this for a few days and you will have a better idea of a cards pendulum and rather than concentrating on out bidding (which is what makes this boring) you can just place a bunch of orders at the low end and then sell them all (don't stack them because human nature will force people to stack below you) at the high end.
For example a card may show a small margin right now but if you know the peak and valley you can throw a bunch of orders in at 3000ish now and sell them tomorrow for 6000ish without playing the outbid game. Margin could never be more than a thousand stubs at any given time but 6000 - 10% - 5400 - 3000 = 2400 per flip.

It’s the Delgado fire sale. Enjoy it while it lasts

and suddenly (at about 3:00 pm EST) the market just crashes
Say, that wouldn’t have been the exact time of a content drop, would it?

Margins are thin because there is no way to make real money quick selling cards. Last year having a gold go diamond was usually a profit of at least 3k. Now maybe you get 500 to 1000 stubs profit if you are lucky. Its a grind for sure, but stick with it. I was able to complete LS without spending a dime.

Everybody wants some stubs for Delgado
I don’t want Delgado, this is killing my little profits
The FOTF cards took a nose dive and stupid me was trying to flip. They are in Chase packs now. No market manipulation. Just a content drop. I made a similar mistake. But as stated, they will rebound.
I can’t make any profits on some cards because they have 300 sell orders for one price that essentially keeps the buy now price low.
Wouldnt worry too much on that, all of those you see: they take a long time to complete with all the over bidding and the margins become nothing. so afterwards the person will either be frustrated with how long it took or lack of profit in it and either have played themselves out of stubs or will either give up trying to flip or do a lot lesser quantities in the future.
It could be that the person put in all his buy prices before he went to bed. Already knew the amount that would turn a respectable profit. Listed all 300 orders for that price. And has already moved on to a different card and doesn't care about the time it will take for these to sell. Now this other guy wants to flip for a big profit but he is flipping during peek hours when the margins narrow.
And there it is. 300 cards. WTF?
Folks be either dropping 300-1000 card orders or protecting a card by increasing buy and decreasing sell price.
Shoot, they even lose money by not allowing the market to fluctuate.I mean yeah, you control the card, but if you let the market fluctuate you can watch the trends and profit while everyone else loses or barely makes anything.
The psychos have caused me to trade micro quantities because they are too scared someone will be as stupid as they are and will accept small margins instead of diversifying.

Hey, DM me. I've been making 100k a day, finished the LS collection and am now just buying the cards I want. The market it workable but you have to stop flipping small cards and move into deeper waters.
