I feel like it has to be coming soon. They just put in a cover Athlete pack and a Takashi pack to get more of those cards in the market. No way they get rid of the big collection. That is what drives alot of people to play the game, rip packs and buy stubs. I do feel like with all the cards they are giving out we are going to need a ton for this first collection.

I also feel like they're making it so easy to collect cards that there's either going to be a major collection like trout or Wagner those years or they're going to be in stages but either way people are not going to have to spend 2 million stubs to get them they are literally handing cards away. These events rewind packs are insane. I have three or four of gold cards I don't even know how I got them whether it's Battle Royale or any programs or whatever. But nothing is going for a ton of stubs

I believe mini seasons didn't get a new card because of the issues during April. The new mini season starts June 1st, I expect to see some changes to it.

If they were to release Jason Vatitek. I'd cream myself.

I been skipping events because I've just been buying the rewards off the AH because most are around quick sell value. That just gives you an idea of how many cards are really out there. If 80 percent of the legend cards are at quiccksell value, that collection set will either be really easy or they are going to make us collect 99 percent of the cards out there.

There is a page for vouchers in your inventory. Could just be a holdover from last year but it's a good sign.

If it's just gonna be one big last year's past we should still have a while. If they are gonna do like last year then we could be getting close like around All Star time maybe. But I don't think the cards are out there yet to collect.

They have made it so easy to collect this year that I would be absolutely shocked if there wasn’t multiple collections. It seems that they have tried to control margins in the market but are giving away Headliners and choice packs like candy.

You make a good point but those headliner packs are always trash for me. Atleast in a ballin pack you are guaranteed a gold

I believe mini seasons didnt get a new card because it was never the plan to give free diamonds every season. Just like the US Conquest doesnt get reset every month with a new card, i think Longoria was just an incentive to try the new mode.

I guess my point is I feel that so much access to Headliner packs and choice packs has kept those down in the market. Event rewind packs is also keeping event rewards super cheap. You can get most event rewards cheaper than headliners.

With that said what percentage of each type do you think we will need? 80 percent? More?. I think I'm set on Prime, postseason, breakouts, Allstars, and rookies. 2nd half is a bit of a wildcard but should be easy enough. I'm really only worried about FOTF and Takashi sets right now. I'm skipping cover athlete.

I hope they do it different this year! Collect so many All-Stars get an All-Star reward so on so forth. I hate collecting 7,8,9 different series to get 1 card.

Dude, good catch. I never even bothered to look but I doubt it's a holdover. And since there is no showdown/TA vouchers I think we have a winner.

Imagine if SDS went away from that this year too. I always look forward to those. I also wonder if they will do it in multiple collections like last year or the previous two years where it was just one major collection I wish they would start hinting on that on Twitter and stop talking about this stupid circuit thing when it's the same five players every year that nobody watches.

Today felt a lot like the early release. A lot of hype and just a fizzle. I'm stoked about Halladay bit this is nothing more than an inning program with nothing else. I know people will tell me they really haven't lost a ton of content but what they do have, they aren't doing much with. Why hasn't Mini seasons had any updates. It's been the same thing g not for 2 months.

Anyway, I didn't hear any type of hints at a collection. I do think there will be one but for whatever reason, SDS has shaved down this game considerably, so I wouldn't be totally shocked if those went away too. When it was released, I realize I was judging way too quickly. But we're far enough in that we know what this game is and what it will have for the most part and it's just soooo much less than last year.

Flashback/legend collection is not going away. SDS mentioned it on steam earlier this month.

Here is a breakdown of the percentages needed last year for Mookie Vouchers. If I remember correct, percentage wise it was a bit more forgiving for the Rivera collection.

    Mookie Collection
    Rookie 78% 35/45 cards
    Breakout 81% 25/31 cards
    All-Star 89% 45/64 cards
    Veteran 82% 40/49 cards
    Postseason 83% 25/30 cards
    Milestone 86% 25/29 cards
    2nd Half 87% 20/23 cards
    Prospects 85% 35/41 cards
    Prime 75% 12/16 cards
    Awards 80% 20/25% cards
    Signature Series 83% 10/12 cards
    Future Stars 87% 20/23 cards

Great stuff. I remember Mookie being significantly harder than Rivera but by the time Mookie came out there were many more cards in the game. Same with Kershaw who was easy but then Jr was hard again. I'm running a spreadsheet to keep inventory. Looks like Prime and Sig are still going to be some of the toughest. At some point this year they will go crazy with the milestone cards.

I agree...there have been a lot of reasonable Prime cards to this point that I hope people have been picking up. That Milestone Britton is also a steal for a milestone. Last year 2nd Half and Postseason kind of caught a lot of people off guard. There just isn't quite as many of those as there are Rookie, Breakout and All Star, but they kind almost get overlooked by Milestone, Prime and Sig.

Here was the Mariano collection from last year. Not sure how many total of each type there was. I feel like there were only 3 sigs and 5 prime total so you needed most of them. The 42 rewarded Jackie so I'm assuming you need all cover athletes as Mauer is one of the vouchers
    10 postseason
    25 veteran
    25 allstar
    20 rookie
    10 monthly awards
    30 tops now
    15 breakout
    10 future stars
    2 signiture
    8 awards
    4 prime
    20 prospects
    10 2nd half heroes
    8 Milestone
    And the 42

I've pretty much cashed in DD this year. Not a fan of what they have done program wise, content is very bland.
Gone back to playing franchise mode.

    Yep, me too.

“Other Programs” epitomizes the lack of creativity in DD this year.

    Yawn.
