and I get someone dotting with Wright on legend. Yea ok
and Mr I take no skill to pitch 99 Johnson. Kind of hard to hit 120. When you do Frank Thomas making diving plays. I think I'm the only one up here without collections.
Super fun game.
-
No collections here yet man. I dont buy stubs so takes me a bit. Still need deGrom and Scherzer.

Oh, I don't fault anyone for using Randy. He is the best pitcher in the game by far and it isn't close.
The Wright one was baffling because his control is terrible.

I made WS the second time and do not own a single live series Diamond. I do have a pretty good team built off of market players I bought with stubs from the programs, 12-0 BR and making WS.

I do agree that Randy Johnson on legend is a joke. The ball comes out of his hand weird and people have found a way to spike offspeed pitches to make it look like a fastball out of the hand. Basically he is like a CAP pitcher.

Control being an 81 isn’t terrible. Especially if you use PP as your input selection.

His slider and slurve travel in the same trajectory as his fastball so yeah if you know how to tunnel his pitches it’s easy to throw his pitches in the dirt and make them look like fastballs until the last second. It’s not like it’s an exploit.

Of course it is not an exploit…it is a player you can use. In my opinion the ball comes out of his hand in an unnatural manner regardless of tunneling and it is a pretty big advantage for those that spent money and locked the collections right away. In a couple of months when there are more great pitchers on the market it will not matter as much.

The last dude I played with Randy had a .5 WHIP and ERA with Randy alongside an 18.8 K/9. I won the game, but those stats are obviously a joke and prove he is glitchy.

My monthly Kyle Wright card has over 20k’s per 9 in online play. And I haven’t played above All Star yet this year online. If you know how to pitch with the cards out there you’re gonna have high per 9 numbers.

You must have only faced all blind people with him lmao. Give me a break.
Doesn’t matter how good you think you are at tunneling or how superior your intellect is pitching is a joke on this game and PPP is not a skill. Literally 1,000 times more difficult to be a good hitter. Maybe I would be willing to give someone some credit if they can pitch with meter.

I’m not gonna argue with you over pitching input. All of them require timing. Pinpoint requires the most action prior to the timing aspect, that’s why it has the most reward along with the most risk of leaving something hittable.

No point in arguing with a guy that literally said he plays at all star and below with his Kyle Wright and we are talking about facing Randy Johnson on HOF or above.
Make it make sense….
You don’t need to tunnel anything when the ball warps out of his weird sidearm delivery.

Very true. He must be playing in the thumbless division. Seriously, for Wright to have 20k/9, you must be playing against really bad players.

Ok kid, let’s first get one thing straight, I make World Series every year. This year I haven’t had the opportunity to play much online. I’m well aware of the difference in difficulty going from AS to HOF. The point I was making had to do with the fact that I have had success with inferior pitchers on lower difficulty levels. Which an intelligent person would have deduced based on the conversation. So please go brag somewhere else I’m not impressed. Hope I get the opportunity to run into you online. We’ll see just how good you really are.
