With that much exit velocity, just went 0 for 6 frustrating as I use normal swing 90% of time, are people using power to swing more then they have in past?

I agree, i watch those youtube vids and seems like ppl hit homeruns so easily, but when i'm good good and even perfect i line out all the time. I think ppl are using power swing and not saying.

Who knows what the issue is. I had numerous perfect perfect that lined out the last time I played showdown. I ended up losing because the center fielder jumped the wall and robbed me of a home run. I turned the game off and played fo4 on pc.

just to be a little bit of devils advocate here good/good is the third most optimal input result not the best.

@skepple15 do you use power swing in favorable counts with power > contact hitter? I can’t determine my swing on the fly if I’m going to power swing I commit before the pitch. Rarely do so. Might make changes soon

Also, now that I think about it, good/good is the 5th most desirable input to have after perfect-flyball/liner/grounder, good/squared

The thing about the third (or fifth if you like) optimal input is that they are randomized now, so we never actually know what the input is. That plus the real possibility that input feedback is not at all accurate.
