What are y’alls thoughts on this card? Currently have Granderson in center but could easily finish Twins affinity

wouldn't recommend. FOTF buxton is just a fielding card, doesn't have much in terms of hitting. i've stuck with grandy almost as soon as he came out, and i'm very happy with him. if you want someone else in center, i'd suggest either FOTF lo cain (not much power, but the vision and contact are good for top of the lineup) or even someone like acuna or bellinger

I disagree with the statement above. I like Buxton a ton, not just for his defense (best in the game currently) but he has sneaky pop and speed kills. Perfect #8 hitter right now. No need to find your big bat in CF at this stage, plenty of sluggers on the corner positions to fill the heart of your line up.

Prospect Taveras is great, Drew waters gets absolutely no love on here but he's one of my best hitters, especially in the clutch.

i don't really remember the stats correctly for him, so i may be wrong about him. i haven't had a chance to use him nor have i faced him, i'm just basing it off cards i've faced with similar or better stats. may give him a shot though

Speed Kills, If your looking to actually enjoy this game instead of just using the best cards, I recommend this card. Very fun to use. Speed and a killer arm, lots of IF and bloop hits. Enjoy

Everything in this comment is spot on. Buxton is amazing defensively. I would definitely recommend doing this team affinity because later in the game when you replace him in CF, he will still be an awesome pinch runner/defensive sub off the bench.

I'm working towards Buxton right now, because even if his bat doesn't hold up (I have Acuna), his speed and defense basically guarantee a spot on my bench, like with Santana's positional flex. But the question is, who next? Whit Merrifield seems like the perfect pick, but that Moncada card seems nice too. And what about the other guy? The one who throws balls instead of hits them?

This has been my experience with Buxton as well.

If you believe in in addition by subtraction, this is a must have card. His ability to get to balls in the outfield eliminates 2-3 baserunners per game at this point.
Later on in the game, when he transitions to the bench he will be a supreme outfield defensive replacement with near perfect speed for a pinch runner and a batting clutch that plays well over the 74 displayed.

I’m a fan of him. I have home hitting 8th, I’m playing with him in CS right now and the Def is great hitting is tough with small pci but he still gets on base and the speed kills when he is on.

Yep agree have hime in center batting 8. Dont let the stats fool you he has surprising pop and a good swing. Definitely worth picking up.

I have him in RF with that throwing arm, batting him 9th. Anytime he hits a ball in the air a puppy dies.

I also got him hitting lead off with my Cap and Tatis Jr behind... 99,99,87 speed to start the game. Plus I'm not gonna lie I do drag bunts down with this guy and almost never get tossed. Also hit plenty of gap shots and a few absolute [censored] missiles

I just played a guy, won 9-3 in six innings. His Buxton hit two tanks off Pearson. Couldn’t believe it!
