Bench Warmers not getting any love? A silly movie but I love it. Every other baseball movie listed here is great. Haven't watched "A league of their own" but after all the love it's getting on here I'm going to check it out. Sand Lot was my favorite as a kid and any Kevin Costner baseball movie is good too.

I am tied with 4 being my favorite & as well best 1's made. 2 about Real Life Players & 2 about Fictitious Players.
About a real life players.
- "42" with Chadwick Boseman playing J-Rob. The movie was very factual to J-Robs real life events & the acting, writing & in game scenes were awesome.
- "The Rookie" with Dennis Quaid playing Jim Morris. It was about 80% factual, but was well written & executed. Was a great "Feel Good" movie.
About a fictitious player(s).
- "For Love Of The Game" with Kevin Costner playing Billy Chapel due to how well the game scenes were made & the story that was tied into it as each inning went by. The movie had game action, comedy, real life issues & problems and as well a heart felt love story.
- "Major League" with Tom Berringer, Charlie Sheen & Wesley Snipes. This movie was hilarious & so freaking funny. They used every pun that can be thought of & used a clever well written story line to tie into the movie along with well created characters. Including Bob Uecker doing color commentary with all his wise cracks & pot shots. "just a "bit" outside"
The Natural - My all time favorite Baseball movie, based on true events.

Trouble with the Curve is a pretty terrible baseball movie. I love Amy Adams but I will probably never watch that one again.

Bingo Long’s Traveling All Stars
A made for TV movie with Billy Dee a Williams, Richard Pryor, James Earl Jones, and Mabel King with fictitious representations of Satchel Page and George Foster on a barnstorming Negro League team.
Honorable mention to Ken Burns’ Baseball.
I didnt realize Richard Pryor did any other baseball related films other than Brewsters Millions. I might have to check that one out.

Yeah, I love Clint, and Adams is one of my favorites, but that movie was so lack luster. Major disappointment.
