Probably bought the players off the market for the PXP grind. I don't wanna spend stubs so I use what they give me, which will take longer.

I finished this morning. It was a grind but the only part that was really annoying was the 2500 pxp with MA hitters. I only had Joc and Ward and it took a good while for that.
Rizzo is quite good though. I figured he'd be alright since he has a nice swing.
Still would have preferred JRam or Arenado. I know they have 90+ diamonds but I thought they might give them a more accessible card like they did with Trout and Acuna FOTFs.

I rented the players I didn't have from the market. Actually turn a couple thousand stub profit doing so.

I tried to play for CPU and quit out bit it is not counting PXP. Started with 1574 for pitchers and 2154 for hitters. Threw Wright in top of 1st and hit with Joc and Ward and points didn't move. Pretty annoying.

This is exactly what I did. If you have a bank roll of 50k or 60k you can have a full lineup and get it all done so much faster and then sell them back once you get Rizzo. Just make sure not to lock them in past the original 5. You don't need to collect all 9 which is what I think people are confused about.

You have a month until the next one comes out. It doesn't need to be done in one sitting unless the car is must have for you. I did it in events in one day and the card is blah. I just want Rizzo the sooner the better because I think he's good on all star but will be bunz on higher difficulties.

By the time I’ll get my 3rd hitter pxp for hitters will be done, will be stuck with individual missions; bad move on my part.

I think it’s set up this way so you really need to grind if you want to sell the higher Diamond cards for profit and skip the POTM. That’s all I’m interested in tbh, and it’s a lot harder to get the free 50-80k compared to last year through a few dozen moments.

When I realized I wouldn’t finish the program in one sitting without buying the extra cards, I just started grinding the event to kill 2 birds with one stone. I finally unlocked Rizzo after a couple games this morning. I finished the program a few hours later; and I have 22 event wins…I love the grind and that it’s hard to get the program done in one day, but it was definitely excessive.

I'm just selling these 88's and 90's for 25-30k a pop. Rizzo aint worth it

I'm in the same boat.
I am not much of a fan of the PXP missions anyway but this one they trickle the cards to you which artificially lengthens the time you need to finish it.
I am sure some people will like it. There are always people complaining that they want stat grinds back. This is that, just a different flavor.

Why the hurry? Not a card anyone seems
Excited about? I will get him in the next couple weeks than have for collections. Don’t know why people are stressing over how quickly they can get him.
