Man, it's a shame what these boards have become in just a short period of time. I remember the days of people debating the good/bad of cards, posting strategies, healthy discussion of lineups....the game has its flaws but goodness gracious this is a joke.

I would love to discuss players but the state of the game had made that a moot subject. If PCI does not matter and hitting is random than does it matter who has a good swing or who has the better stats? Its hard to stump for the impressive defense of my FOTF Buxton in Centerfield, when Juan Soto is making the same plays. I feel like the constructive discussions on players and market moves and completing sets is what set this board apart from others. Unfortunately those become less relevant with the current issues with gameplay because they really dont matter if the gameplay is broken. I do think SDS can adjust things and make them better, the question becomes how long until they figure it out.

I am all about voicing your opinion, but it's consistantly the same gripes and alot of times from the same people. You would think after 2-3 posts about how bad this game is you would turn it off, but we have a pretty unreal amount of peeps in here who would rather make 4 paragraph posts over, and over, and over again.

Me commenting "stop crying" on a random thread is far different then someone creating 9 different posts about how DD is broken and they are "done".

You would think after 2-3 posts about how bad this game is you would turn it off, but we have a pretty unreal amount of peeps in here who would rather make 4 paragraph posts over, and over, and over again.
Sometimes it takes voicing this over and over to get a point across to the devs to change. I’ll continue to voice my concerns until the next patch (for gameplay) and if nothing has changed, I’m done and wont cry anymore because by then I’ll know my answer.

True. But people are upset and sds hasn't communicated about several issues, so I understand.
Those few people that post the same thing everyday are annoying tho, I'll give you that.

The great thing about forums is that if you see a title you may not like, you can move along to another one. If you read something you don't agree with, you can move along. But you always have to put your 2 cents in and its usually always negative. I get that you are one of the defenders on this forum so you are either not good at the game or just like to stir the pot. Heck maybe you still play on a PS4. It is apparent that you don't know what Game Update 4 did for hitting and that 5 days later Game Update 5 broke all that progress on a PS5. Have a good day sir. I cannot tell you how disappointing that is, I really enjoyed your meaningless input.
And yes, I usually do throw my 2 cents in but it is almost always directed at those same people who spam these forums with nonsense, or InsertName's 8th post of the day about how this game sucks. Not once have you ever seen me troll or spam great posts just because i feel like it, it's generally always warranted.
And I can absolutely keep scrolling, but the entire point of my post was how brutal is it nowadys trying to sift through any post that may have some positive or constructive feedback that helps the everyday player, gets overrun by trolls and babies who are 99x worse than I am. And what does my skill level have to do with calling people out? Your response is just as equally as bad as you're making me out to be.

Life is boring when everyone thinks the same in any community. What keeps me coming back to this forum is the differences in opinions. When we’re constantly around people who think the same as us, it’s not only boring, but it’s constricting.
The one problem I see is when people are disrespectful because of anonymity. It would be cool if we could all talk to each other the way we would if we were face to face.
