Worst Hitting Engine to date…

Long time show player, and I’m not going to pretend like I’m amazing at this game because I’m not. Last year I sat between 600-700 skill rating for the large part of the year.
I’m not sure what you’ve done to the hitting this year, but wow it needs a patch ASAP. Im baffled at how little you get rewarded for good PCI and Good timing and how many hits you give up and get for just genuinely garbage timing…

MLB The Show 12 was the best in terms of hitting and simulation I wish they would simply go back to it and I wasn't even great at that game it was a real challenge

I agree that it’s terrible. I’m not a bad player by all means (was one win from World Series last year when I went on a ranked grind). Something about this years hitting is off (especially as of late). I was hitting great when the game first dropped but in the past week or two, I can’t hit [censored] in any sort of competitive mode. It’s weird though, when I go play co-op with my buddies, I absolutely rake. It makes zero sense and something is going on
