Hit the XP cap for the first time

And I call bs. Double XP was going on most of the day, but if you’re gonna offer double XP, then maybe double the XP cap as well? Or at least reset it when the program turns over? This is ridiculous IMO.
What is the cap anyway? It must be low because I’ve never hit it before.
This is just absurd.

This answered a question I had. The Cap does double with double XP. What happened was You gained a certain amount of XP while double XP was on before the new program came out, and when the new program came out it doesn't reset your previous XP but the cap drops down to normal. Moral of the story don't play before the content drops the day of a new program

How much total xp do you have towards the new program

i’m at 51k on the new program. but i also was maxed on the old program for awhile before playing this morning

It goes with the gameplay nintendo mentality... achieving greatness without even trying.

Hey SDS, this guy is telling us to not play your game for 24 hrs.
The real lesson here, is they should reset the daily cap when they press the button.

I agree, but the same thing happened last year and its not a big enough problem for them to fix it so

How do you know if you hit the cap? I been playing on and off all day and as far i can tell, im still getting xp.

Try closing the game and restarting it. When you load in it will give you the “xp cap reached” message
