As a teacher, it would take me a decade , to arrive at 40k per year in the State of Idaho. And that's not a living wage here either. But I understand. 70k would be very difficult to get by on in California.
Move to Canada. Our dipshit teachers average 88K/year here. That doesn't include gold plated benefits and pension
Didn't your leader lock down bank accounts of his own citizens because they were honking their own trucks?
Rather be homeless in Hawai'i than ever step foot on leaf land
Yeah he's an idiot. Not like he incited domestic terrorism or anything though. We're just as happy to not have you mouth breathers here as well. Guess we can both be happy

The education system in Canada is doing far better than the U.S., as is the health of their democracy. The benefits and pay of teachers has a lot to do with both.

Honestly I have no sympathy since they don’t communicate at all when the game launches.

Respect. Former teacher here, but changing professions was one of the best decisions I ever made. So under paid and under appreciated.

Less stress. I quit too. Teachers have plenty of skills that can be used in plenty of careers.

Yes, incredibly accurate. CNN I’m guessing? I’d head to Hawaii ASAP, many of the Karen Convoy members are currently homeless so you may not be far behind if you think like them.

I definitely didn’t get into the right profession,Teachers here have it [censored] good. A year round salary even though you don’t work in the summer, any time you whine the government throws tax payers dollars at you, and all you have to do is babysit for about 5 hours of the day.

You say that, until you actually sit in a classroom and listen to what they are teaching these kids.

I mean... it's a Sony owned company. Doubt Sony has limited resources.
And it runs better on Xbox....currently buying a Series X because the ps5 is kinda bad; I'd use other words but they get beep treatment.

Except it’s not Canada, education is provincial; maybe in your province that’s what they make.
A
Don’t forget they have to deal with little dip**** who yell and blame teachers for their kid’s failures because they’re too busy looking at their phones rather than raising them. -

Very true. However, this can be a double-edged sword. Sony can look at SDS as a cash-cow. The game has been relatively "rinse and repeat" for the last few years, servers still seem to be an issue... so maybe Sony isn't making a huge investment here.

Probably not a huge profits either; when they check their books they probably go « not in the red? Moving on… ». It’s a safe little market presence. IMO of course

I'm guessing that the President of Sony has a dashboard in his office showing the number of stubs sold per day. When he sees a dip, he calls SDS and says "STUB SALE NOW!!!!".
Probably not. But it would be awesome if it was true.

I have the image in my head of a Japanese CEO on the 50th floor in Tokyo talking in japanese and English subtitles reading "What the f... are stubs??"

Yet since they been around they put all other baseball games to shame and ran them out of town. I never owned a PlayStation until ps 4 and all I ever heard was how good this game was. So I finally stopped modding my last copy of MVP 2005 and bought the PS for The Show and never looked back. Probably the best sports game ever made. Even with the problems we have now. And tbh most of the problems, in fact all of the issues I have are online related, not necessarily with the game itself.

Tbh the Offline gameplay itself is almost flawless IMO. All of my issues are with online games as well. I don't play Franchise or RTTS until the end of the year so I can't speak on those

So much disinformation!
I actually get the summer, 2 weeks for Christmas, 2 weeks for Spring Break, a 4 day Easter break, and various other days off.
And it's more like 6-7 hours a day.
But if you have a stack of essays to grade, which is the running normal for me, and had to prep for the year during summer break, which almost all teachers do, you'd understand that it's a job where you take your work home with you almost constantly. And the stress of being "on" all the time is real.
But do enjoy my summers!
