Let's say there is a gold card of limited supply. I have enough stubs to go in and buy up all of the buy now orders. I've done the math it would be around 80 orders and the average of each would be around 4,200. Once I've bought up all the buy now orders I could sell them back when the sell now rose above the average I bought them at.
DM me with which cards you want to make a run at, and LET'S BUY THEM ALL!!!!!!
Not gonna do it today. I might try later in the year. But the card I was looking at was Hunter Greene. You can buy all of his stock for 330k.
I promise you that is not all of his stock. SDS Adds cards to the market. When people see there are no orders they will will start listing theirs for bigger profits. You could probably make some stubs but it's still a Gamble. And no there is absolutely nothing wrong and you will not get banned anyone that says that isn't complete moron. Why would you spending your stubs to buy all of a supply of a certain card be a bannable offense? You're not doing anything wrong. I don't even know why that would cross your mind. I think you are just feeling people out to see if they think it's a good idea.

There is no problem with the concept but you would risk the market flooding with lower bids and end up holding the cards or selling at a loss.
Worst case scenario is what you described and you end up are sitting there with 80 cards you paid 300k for. Even if the artificial demand you tried to create fails then you wait until all the players who sold their cards when they completed the moments run back to the market to buy back the card so they can complete the collection. If the cards reach 4200 (which they will) then you made all your stubs back.

Gotta makes stubs somehow amirite?
Not like I'm talking about going to a Korean website and buying 2 million stubs for 40 USD. That's what happend yeaterday. I agree, that should be a ban for all who did it.

I agree it's definitely not all his stock. But you wouldn't need it to be, you would only need maybe a 10 minute window to sell back as many as you can before people caught on. Even then the prices wouldn't snap back to where they were, they would slowly move back to normal.

Not sure it is against the rules and it may benefit you but it is doing so at the expense of others, at least my opinion. Your depriving others who may want the card, you could be hurting someone's ability to work on to work on collections.

I think for a card that needs to be locked in for collections like that one for the player of the month there is no way you cannot make stops because whoever sold the card for the initial quick stubs will end up wanting to buy it back down the road unless they are not completing the player of the month program. I think you have a lot bigger than a 10-minute window people aren't going to catch on to a card like that that quick and there's only so many in circulation so there's no rush it's like an event card you can save that for 3 months and then when a bigger collection comes along it's worth a bunch but some people just need the stubs now which I understand. You should be working on Randy Johnson if you haven't got him already

Dang, you've already got the whole collection? I thought you sold Trout and bought up the NL. I'm 8 teams away but 6 of those are all the monsters. I could probably complete 3 or 4 but then I'd have no stubs.
Anyway, Frank didn't really do it for me either last year. I'm hoping this card is better.

Yeah sure. I buy a bunch of cards with the stubs I legaly earned/bought and I get banned. If that's the case sds needs to ban somebody because someone just bought a ton of cj Abrams Topps now cards for around 2200 each and the sell now price is already up 700. If he sold them all now he'd make his stubs back.
Look I'm not going to do it. But I am going to watch this cj Abrams fiasco closely

LS is not essential for other collections…at least if you plan things accordingly…and/or you are fine waiting a week or so after the collection drops. I think last year it was even possible to complete Rivera without all of LS on day one, but was much more attainable without LS about a week later.

Why would you spending your stubs to buy all of a supply of a certain card be a bannable offense? You're not doing anything wrong. I don't even know why that would cross your mind. I think you are just feeling people out to see if they think it's a good idea.
I agree it's definitely not all his stock. But you wouldn't need it to be, you would only need maybe a 10 minute window to sell back as many as you can before people caught on. Even then the prices wouldn't snap back to where they were, they would slowly move back to normal.
Man the collection rewards stink this year. Pujols is better than frank. Frank is a bench bat for me. I'm in no hurry to spend 700k to get a pitcher I'll use every 4 games.
Clemente is worlds better than he was last year I almost have him a parallel 5, Frank is awesome but the longer you wait to get him you will probably never use him and Randy is the best picture ever in this game I don't know what you're holding your stubs for but that's your choice. Plus you'll need that voucher towards the big collection rewards like last year
LS is not essential for other collections…at least if you plan things accordingly…and/or you are fine waiting a week or so after the collection drops. I think last year it was even possible to complete Rivera without all of LS on day one, but was much more attainable without LS about a week later.
Yes. Last year they would drop the collections then people would go into full panic spending millions of stubs to complete it, then a week later when the smoke settled, sds wouod drop all the series cards you would need in a new program lol

No, locked in trout and completed the AL. Still lack the NL
Oh so you decided against selling him and buying the NL. I remember a thread you had going about it. Regardless, you are miles ahead of most. Wish Frankie was a better bet for you hahaha.
At least we have Bryan Friggin Reynolds.

But doesn't everybody complete live series eventually? Why not do it when the cards are viable as opposed to when they are bench bats? I remember I needed live series last year because there was something I didn't have I can't remember which one it was it may have been the Jackie Robinson at the beginning. That will be this year's Joe mauer I think and those cards are still like over 300K just for a 96 overall catcher that you may never use. I thought Jackie Robinson was a better collection last year
