Appreciate the reminder as to why I haven't played online for 2 years and dont buy the game every year anymore. Try playing a couple games online, last one I play is vs someone who has twice as many losses as wins. Swung at everything and struck out 7 or 8 times first time through the order. I kept getting good PCI good timing and flyout/perfect lineouts. I finally take a 2-0 lead, and my opponent immediately gets a very late single down the line against the shift on a pitch a foot inside, then an early timing homer. My only hits for a while were a late swing with the pitcher and a perfect bunt single on a curve way inside. Barely managed to sneak out an extra innings win after another opponent infield hit on a slider way outside thanks to the fact that my opponent was very late on every fastball and chased pitches above his head. Well done SDS, and I sincerely appreciate the reminder not to bother playing online. I would go play RTTS, but sadly thats no fun either considering I try to make the game realistic and play on legend but have only struck out 2 or 3 times in 100 at bats.

I wish they would just take out the comeback coding or whatever algorithm it is that keeps games close

Sir…we are told to 100% blame ourselves for playing bad and not the game cause the game doesn’t reward trash hits…or force pitches easier to hit….or cause random errors…or nerf your good hits…or make hitting interfaces like Timing a viable option with half the effort and skill…or have bad connections between opponents…or make your players act silly on routine plays…
All of these are your fault and you should have played better cause that’s baseball.

You're right I apologize I will try to be better
And quit coming on here and voicing your opinion about the game. If you don’t like it…leave the game forever or we will make your experience on here miserable with constant insults because we can because the mod let’s us. You either enjoy your opponents winning by playing worse than you or get out…..NOW!!! If you try to debate us we will gang up on you too.

Just curious, when I look at the leaderboards and go to the bottom I see records like
2-53
2-54
37-157
7-64
4-45
20-75If this game helped bad players then shouldn't these people at the bottom of the leaderboard have better records?

Confessions of a terrible player:
"Yeah, trust me...I'm a terrible player and this game doesn't help me win." He said after giving up yet another home run.
In reality, I am not arguing against the concept of some RNG or retention style tactics at play here, it's a video game. I certainly wish they'd help me win every once in a while though. My RS record stands at 8- 42 lifetime. All 8 were early quits either due to a lucky run on my part or they just quit out prior to the game starting. I have never won a 9 inning game online.
If you are the superior player, (which I'm not sure how you can know that unless you're matched against someone like me) you will win 9 out of 10 times.
Public service announcement: Please remember that while you all boast about what a wrecking crew you are at this game and how you should win every time due to superior abilities and that SDS has robbed you of perfection and glory, try to think of the underdog who is just trying to get a hit amd scratch a win so he doesn't throw his controller through the screen. It's gonna be OK. You're still gonna win a lot if you're good.

well said, I'm 17-1 rn, had a perfect game through 7 1/3 on hof last night, had a lot of line outs/good swings but couldnt help but feel for my opponent, k'd 14 times, not a lot of great swings, usually the better player wins, anytime i feel i'm out gunned i usually am the loser.
