You can't complete the program if you have 1 (or none) of the Deluxe version cover athletes. If my math is correct, you can only get to 73 stars if you have none of the cards and 76 if you have 1. You need 90. This is a first time where SDS actually forces you to buy off the market to complete a program. Again, going backwards buddies.
They are all repeatable. And you can use players from 1 of three teams. You aren't forced to buy anything.

Well.... I did the Red Sox 1000 PXP for 3 stars and even though it says repeatable, it's not actually counting progress for a second time.
Rebooted the game and now it does......

I've missed notices that requirements are repeatable a couple of times. It happens.

Cabrera is a lock to get a supercharge on his next hit. Other than that I’m just going to let Twins, Red Sox, and Mariners stats accumulate over time. That pack may be more valuable in July than it is right now.

The only one of these players I have is Donaldsons live series. I’m trying to save stubs and I’m not about to buy players to do the program. Pretty annoying tbh.

Sorry I should have clarified. I meant there was no "get PXP with phillies players" mission to replaced howard like the Twins, Redsox, and Mariners Missions replaced Mauer, Ortiz, and Griffey

I knew this would happen and my thoughts were confirmed when the inning bosses were gone. I'm still able to put an ok team together so far no money spent though. I agree with you 100 percent.

I knew this would happen and my thoughts were confirmed when the inning bosses were gone. I'm still able to put an ok team together so far no money spent though. I agree with you 100 percent.
This was determined to not be true. All the missions are repeatable so if you can just field a team of Red Sox, Mariners and Twins you can complete the program. If you have Cover athletes or their live series counterpart (i.e. cover Harper or LS Harper, you can also use them, but honestly, it will go so much faster just using these 3 teams.
