seems like the same for me, good contact outs over and over...other person can't hit out a wet paper bag, hits a few weak rollers and then pulls a bomb on an off the plate offspeed pitch 450 feet....then goes on to swinging and missing and making poor contact.

‘17 was the best year period!!! Yeah you had to deal with “just late” and some steak cheese but the hitting engine was the best overall.

I still think 17 is the best, but you can't forget to mention that half the cards were unusable due to topspin

No one should accept something being sub-par. And The Show has been sub-par for a very long time.
And it's not like it's baseless complaining. People are being in depth and pinpointing specific issues in full detail and you're just gonna act like that's not the case.

So you know the game has been sub par for years, yet you buy it year after year and complain about it year after year. Hows that worked out so far? Big changes?.

In the their pre-launch content, they showed a table comparing the number of batted balls for each hit type as well as strikeouts and whatnot, at each difficulty level, compared to actual mlb stats. I'm sure many of you saw this. I would be interested to see a chart comparing exit velocity and hit type to mlb actuals hit type. I suspect I know what I would find, but that's the data I would really like to see. What percent of 90-95 mph exit velocity in MLBTS are singles, doubles, triples, god forbid HR, and what percent are out...and then compare those percentages to MLB actual. I'd be most interested in anything 100+.
