Maybe there is a coding issue that prevents all of these foul balls from being swings and misses so why not just make them weak grounders in play? Make most of these weak choppers back to the pitcher. That would save on pitcher stamina too so that we don’t have so many 12 pitch at bats. I know some would end going for hits on slow rollers to third but I think most would be outs and the people who are swinging at everything should get penalized more this way.

Yesterday I got so fed up with 16 pitch AB's I started trying to hit the batter on purpose and they were still making contact.

It's programmed that way. You swing. You make contact. Regardless. That's how they made it

Because then everygame would have several of those hits where the ball bounces 6 feet but your pitcher/catcher fields the ball with the urgency of a game of catch at a picnic.

Having a developer that understands baseball physics would be step 1.

just make them miss more...I still get 6-8 k's a game most of the time, but they are really off on timing. But sometimes the guy fouls off everything and eventually it will force a meatball or they will at a minimum kill your stamina. Ive also noticed a ton more check swings this year,

Oh it's not a coding issue if I remember correctly Ramone stated that this was intentional I wish I could find the video something about making pitchers work to get outs increased RNG
