PowL 97/85......+12 tatisI know they are both great players, but I haven't watched that much of either. Is tatis that much of a better hitter than vlad Jr? Also how is his card only 2 points higher when he has these hitting stats and 90+ speed and steal?

Defense factors into OVR much more for SS than for 3B.
And Vlad is due for an upgrade.

Take a look at the other attributes which factors into overall card grade. Tatis has a lower Vision, Fielding, Accuracy & Reaction than Vlad. His higher Speed & Steal is what has his card be just only 2 points higher than Vlad. Have to grade every single attribute to equate a final overall grade.

Tatis has been much more consistent since debuting and subsequently has a higher career OPS+ at the moment, so arguably yes he is better if you consider more than just last season, which SDS has told us they do in coming up with the starting LS attributes each year.

LS ratings are based on the past 3 years of performance when applicable. Obviously rookies and certain exceptions exist.
Just another factor for consideration.... Y'all

yes, tatis is a better hitter. For whatever reason, Guerrero Jr. can't hit lefties very well.

This game is masterpiece of shnit so I tunned in real baseball couple day's ago and nobody was bunting like their life can be miserable then it is, pitcher actually need more than .00734 second between pitch OH I FORGOT TO MENTION Vladdy Jr 3 homeruns ... his swing is pure daddy genetics with more hip turning madness ! So yep SDS s*ck in rating...and prod... and coding... and in life generally I guess ...
