Yeah I know eh!! Casuals and noobs are gonna turn this game into RBI baseball in a couple of years if they keep complaining like little weak sauce brats. I'm glad that 2019 there was an increase in pitch speeds and for 2020 they sorta brought it back with patch 1.05. In a perfect world they could make two games, one for Franchise/Sim players where the current Legend setting is like Veteran with room to increase difficulty, and one for online/auto/PCI/card collecting players and just dumb it down for them so everyone can be happy.

Cool, you have good batting stats from playing almost all your games on veteran and all star. Play a game on legend when you reach it then give an input on pitch speed.

You're an idiot. The pitch speeds have not been touched. Everyone starts off at rookie and the speeds increase as you move up. 1.05 increase speed differentials, not pitch speeds themselves.
What should we dumb down for you? Lets get your sorry [censored] on a real diamond and see how much we have to handicap it for you.

Maybe they make two, one for “sim” guys where you have to use directional and swing your controller with the simulation of a real 97 MPH fastball coming at you, then another where you have to use a zone but when you hit a PP lineout your next at bat has a troll face for the pci the next at bat
