Just can't get comfortable this year

Man, my timing is off on every game mode, online and off. It took me way longer than normal to get through the BR program. I struggle with Mini Seasons. Even Conquest.
I went back into MLB 21 last night to see if maybe my settings are off. I entered a Conquest game with a bunch of 42-Series guys, and lit everything up.
So... I don't know what's wrong. I just can't get comfortable this year. Maybe my old eyes are trying to tell me something. Ugh.

Its not you brother. Hitting is off this year. Everyone who says it is almost crucified but its not the same.

Yeah, I'm definitely hitting worse this year. I keep thinking it's the cards and I'm just used to 99s but I did the same thing and put a bunch of golds in and raked in 21. Maybe we just need to get used to this hitting engine (still not sure what that means exactly) after using 21 for a Year.

I would stop playing offline and online at the same time. Timings md speeds are so different. Especially if you play in lower difficulties offline. Before you go online go into custom practice, put the pitch speed at legend and then go into sliders and up the pitch speed by 3 or 4 notches. That is so fast but it gets your brain ready for online speed differences and lag. Online speeds are pretty inconsistent because of connections and ping.

Yep... Usually I can quickly tell if there is bad latency in online h2h while hitting, but over the weekend, I noticed that there was major lag while pitching, which was unusual for me.

That's good advice... I'll focus on the offline until I can get settled again.

Hopefully a patch will drop soon and hopefully it will fix some major issues.

Offline is harder to get results on the same balls; online pitch speed (on AS I can speak to not HoF or Legend) are slower. Relatively speaking, I get better results than last year online (I stink) and worse offline. Weird

I'm pretty sure that SDS reads everything I post. One of the interns just burst into the President's office and screamed "arvcpa can't hit! Something is broken with this game."
The President leaned forward in his chair, put his head in his hands and muttered "I knew it. I knew something was off. I mean... if arvcpa can't hit, what hope is there for the rest of the community? I know that @raesONE_PSN seems to think something is off, but now that arvcpa has said something, we have to take this seriously."
I fully expect everything to be fixed in Patch 4. They're working on it as we speak. You're welcome, Forum.

I have typically hit around .380-.400 on my way up to HOF in the past. This year I was .330 with a good hitting lineup. With the exception of 1 game, HOF has not been fun to hit. I am not reacting to the pitch like I should be but guessing. It's not fun.
I can see and hit the ball most of the time on Legend BP.
