Yeah I am using the Gigabyte M32U and I'm very happy with it. HDMI 2.1 compatible and very low input lag. Tested as the best monitor for PS5 by Rtings.

Rtings is a great resource. TV or monitor, be sure it supports HDMI 2.1 and VRR with low input lag.

I’d go with something that’s 4k and 120 fps. I’d expect the game to support 120 next year.

I'm not familiar with that monitor so I honestly wouldn't know.

The Samsung Odyssey has been really good. It was on sale at Best Buy for 649. HDMI 2.1, 4K…..had actually lower input lag on rtings than the gigabyte one. Rtings does say that the gigabyte one is more compatible with ps5. I didn’t read why just saw the headline.

This Samsung actually has the lowest Input lag @120 hz with their new testing methodology even than the 1080p monitors.

I have a 48 inch LG C1 also and honestly prefer the G7.

    I LOVE these.

I use two for my workstation at school where I run IT. I acquired 10 of these through grant money and they rock.

They are so good, I was going to order one this week for my teenager. He can use it for his Xbox and replace his LG 24 inch TV as well.

This is the one I own. Keep in mind that the show only runs on 60fps and 1080. My monitor is overpowered for the show but works great for call of duty which has 120fps. Also has 1ms response and 144hz. I haven't noticed any input lag. The show also doesn't run on 4k. I suggest getting at least 120fps because i would think that would be available in a true next gen console the show game. Right now from my understanding the game is just a port version of a last gen console but I'm not super techy either. PS5 for the show 22 mainly makes the loading screens faster and game run smoother but i don't believe there's an advantage since the game is capped at 60fps.

Yeah, I see this as my next splurge and will give my current one to my son ( or just have a dual setup for work)

By the way a normal 1080p monitor feels gross after getting used to a 4K monitor. They are spendy, but worth it.

Thanks Cody b. That is what I
Wondering, I have a good 1080 but think the benefit of a 4 k would be substantial.

So playing the game at 4k doesn't slow down the response time?

I think you mean input lag…response time is how fast the frames change…slower response times would create blur or trails behind moving objects.

As far as input lag goes according to the testing on rtings 4K does not impact it.

I personally feel like the new HDMI 2.1 monitors are are at least on par with a fast 1080P monitor at this point. Besides the resolution it really feels like you are buying a premium product.
