5 people green parallel monthly Dawson?

How is there 5 people with Dawson level 1 green parallel already? Am I missing something, I’ve searched in the game everywhere and idk.. I do have 16 points earned as far as I know that’s all you can get?

Ok I understand you can use him in BR, but Dawson is a monthly reward. How can you Level him if you don't own the card? Or is he also a BR reward (as monthly Player)?

You gain parallel progress by using him in BR games, just the same as if you owned that card and used it in other modes

You didn't need to own a card to level it up in BR last year either. You can also sell a card and buy it back later and it will maintain whatever parallel progress you had with it.

I'm not a BR / online Player and didn't know that.
Always thought you needed the card it self to Level up. The sell thing I did know

Yeah when i heard them say that on stream i just rolled my eyes. Wasn't the purpose of getting card first and race to parallel supposed to be the exciting part of parallel? So they have excluded everyone that doesn't play BR. I mean technically since BR has been a thing, they have said Cards won't be available in BR until that card is discovered? This is the kind of things that should be explained before launch. Pre-Launch stream used to last all day and allow people to ask Devs questions and they stopped doing that.

So Dawson doesn’t pop up every draft, so I can’t imagine anyone is redrafting enough times to get him randomly just to parallel him. Not especially 1 good run and a few knocks with him and L1 is pretty easy. Between now and when he is available to all through the program I’d be surprised if anyone has him beyond L2.
And I dunno about it being “discovered” as much as it is just being released/available in DD mode.
